ABOUT THE GAME Luceti is a large but medium-paced game featuring war and creepy-science-experiment elements against a slice-of-life backdrop. Your character also gets outfitted with a fun pair of wings! Luceti's overarching plot revolves around the mysteries of the Malnosso organization that controls the setting in which game characters live. There's a war going on in the background, and characters are called to battle on a somewhat regular basis on "drafts"; characters may also sign up for special missions, and play large role in the way the plot unfolds. Over the years, Luceti's residents have managed to take advantage of a secret network: lucetilocked where secret plotting away from the eyes of the Malnosso take place. In the meantime, the Malnosso regularly perform "experiments" (a.k.a. events) on the residents of the enclosure, which range from silly to serious. Recent experiments include the now traditional "mistletoe" experiment around Christmastime, and an upcoming belated Valentine's event based on Harvest Moon. Besides mod-run plot, Luceti is quite open to player plots of all shapes and sizes, which include, at present, the formation of a gamewide panfandom alliance. The game is journal-based, but don't let that be a turn-off. Because BAM, reading list, all right there. No need to go through the hassle of maintaining one for your character journal! Every character in the game, all right there in one convenient place, without any need to maintain a constantly shifting reading list on your character journal. Backtag-friendly is legitimately this game's middle name. Network interaction and face-to-face time is incredibly balanced. 90% of all posts tend to offer a combination of action options and voice/written communication options, so reliance on the network is definitely not absolute. AC is painless, requiring 30 comments in the span of a month, split between a maximum of three sources, which can be either threads, logs, or posts. Castlevania WANTED: Trevor Belmont and Julia Laforeze. Curse of Darkness bros! TAKEN: Hector and Isaac. NOTES: With Isaac free of the curse and alive, the devil bromasters are now accessing and super-slowly rebuilding (?) the level of understanding they once shared. Of course, this is incredibly challenging considering how bitter Isaac is and the lingering distrust between them. A few familiar faces especially from this rarely-played canon would be awesome, but characters from all CV games are very welcome! STAR WARS WANTED: Obi-Wan, Leia, Han, Lando, C-3PO, Yoda, Mara, Kyle, Wedge, pretty much anyone from the movies, EU, Old Republic, etc. TAKEN: Luke Skywalker, Padme Amidala, Anakin Skywalker NOTES: Canonpoint awkwardness welcome and loved! Luke's early in the EU timeline, Padme is post death, and Anakin is early Episode III. Plus, what Star Wars cast would be complete without a little time confusion. TALES OF THE ABYSS WANTED: We would like anyone! With the main party nearing potential completion, there's plenty of room amongst the side characters and God Generals! Mieu, Florian, Sync, Largo, Legretta, Noelle, Van himself... Oo! I'd always been interested in Luceti but admittedly was turned off by journal based, but with that reading list I think I have to reconsider! It would either be for this girl or Serin Osman, both from Halo.
