zodion is an 18+ community based game centered around the western zodiac. characters are marked with a tattoo of their zodiac sign upon entry, and are informed they must engage in worship every four weeks to help the world grow. most aren't so pleased when they find out that worship is sex. but hey, sex fuels the world, right? for those who aren't so willing, the tattoo will act as an 'encouraging' reminder from the gods, and will gradually push characters toward having sex once the first week passes with increasing intensity. first the odd dreams of destruction and cries for help come, and if they still refuse... well, then they might just start behaving a little oddly... but there's no need to actually thread any of it out (or keep constant track of a character's cycle), of course. both handwaving and fading to black is perfectly fine. there is an ongoing plot, but gameplay is mostly slice-of-life with some otherworldly elements thrown into it. characters who don't have canon powers may be given one game-based power of their zodiac sign's element, and this power will grow in strength the more they worship. characters with canon powers can keep one nerfed power to start, which will also become stronger as they worship. so yeah, this worship business influences a lot of things! it affects both powers and the world itself (you can bring in new things to the setting through your character's worship).

events tend to be either be of the ~sexy adventures~ kind, or the plot advancing kind.

as of right now, the game is on hiatus as a result of the move to dreamwidth! it's expected to open back up on January 12th along with reserves.
