Ever dreamed of putting your hunter/demon/angel/monster/whatever else into a setting where they're stuck in a mental hospital, being told they're crazy and their whole life is a lie, only to be forced to fight monsters and be experimented on the second night rolls around? Well, then Damned is the place for you!
Damned is a prose-based survival horror jamjar that's been running for years now (since October 2006!) and has a dedicated player-base. Yours truly is one of the mods there and also happens to play Castiel. I used to have a pretty decent cast of Dean, Sam, Ruby, and Gabriel, but they all dropped fairly recently, which means Cas is on his own. :(
So yes, every character except Castiel is open! His canon point is post-518, but any applicants certainly wouldn't have to match that. I've played with all sorts of canon points in the past, so I'm pretty much up for anything and anyone! Dean and Sam are the obvious choices (and I have had one friend express interest in apping Sam, at least), but anyone else -- Bobby, Crowley, Ruby, Gabriel, Balthazar, Anna, Chuck, Lucifer, anyone -- would be amazing. (Definitely most interested in finding a Dean, if you're between two characters.)
Also, seeing how I am a mod, you can rest assured that I won't be flaking out of the game or dropping threads or anything of the sort. I've been playing Cas since July 2010 and don't have any plans to drop him.
