BtVS, Repo! & more @ MAYFIELD

[community profile] mayfield_rpg
Panfandom, medium-paced and comm-based, Mayfield is known for its stunningly in-depth events, relaxed AC, and large playerbase. It takes place in bland 50's American suburbia; characters are housed together in 'happy little nuclear families' and are stripped of their powers upon arrival, but can gain them back as time goes on. Violence is common during events, but can be opted out of, and a killed character returns to life the next day.

Size: ~450 characters. One of the largest games out there; very well-established.
Pace: Slower than you'd think! Medium-paced most of the time, fast during events. Fairly backtag-friendly.
Mood: Mystery and horror, but with sufficient downtime between events.
Ease of CR: Moderate to high? Giles has been here a few months and I have to count his close CR on both hands, and he's not the biggest social butterfly in Buffy. The game offers a lot of things that help, like randomizing housing or signing your character up for a job.

Canons I would love to see around the game:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer | Repo! The Genetic Opera | Supernatural | Merlin BBC

BtVS:
Taken: Giles
Wanted: Scoobies would be wonderful, and more uncommon characters are welcomed-- I'd kill for a Jenny or Ethan.

Repo!:
Taken: Nathan
Wanted: Anyone!

Nathan-mun and I would be delighted to rope in an Uther Pendragon, if there are even any out there, for maximum facetwin shenanigans.
