I've seen your Overlord and he's awesome. (You....may or may not have tagged with me with him). He could really stir up some chaos: ALWAYS GOOD.

Call could be fun because we have robots who look like robots and humans who look like humans but no robots who look like humans. HUH what's up with that?

Skids would be awesome, esp if Swerve up there is there! So would First Aid...So would Duke.

ALL OF THOSE CHARACTERS WOULD BE SUPER DUPER WELCOME.

I don't know much about canon outside of Transformers... but I think a Skids might be fun to play (even though, wow I want everyone) because he's so impulsive, and that could lead to a lot of unexpected scenarios.

Otherwise from a purely bias perspective, I'd love to see Overlord natter with ALL the Starscreams about Megatron.

And THIS Starscream needs to bully convince someone to stick an organ inside him. Hur First Aid might fit that bill.

Miss Annalee is a character I've played extensively before. |D; Tech I have an app pretty much written for her since I can just reuse it.

Mainly the reason why I'm unsure about bringing him to R/A is because I already play him full time at another game! I mean, not that I tire of playing him at all, but I'm unsure of having repeat characters :|a

I definitely agree about Skids. I think he'd be a lot of fun to play and I think easy to throw around. Makes him a very tempting choice. Mainly going for playing ease here and such.

Bitches don't know about how Megatron owes him. He owes him.

In the end I guess I might just write a bunch of apps and see which I find easiest to write/have the most ideas for... :|a I could probably feasibly app Overlord + someone else. Just a matter of picking... who.

So, if anyone has the time, I'd really love some solid feedback. I'm considering a second character. (I already play Deckerd), but I'm really having a rough time deciding? I'd like to know what people would prefer:

Dead Space: Karrie Norton AKA 'VANDAL'.
She's an engineer in the Dead Space iOS game who accidentally an entire necromorph outbreak.

Pros: She's an engineer. She can probably fix bots. She's also a human, and I know we need more of those.
Cons: She's antisocial and abrasive and hard to get along with. She's SEEN SOME SHIT.

GaoGaiGar: Mic Sounders the 13th
Mic is like the Elite Beat Agent of robots. He's absurd and has Rock and Roll based powers. Very happy-go-lucky and a bit of a derp.

Pros: Very social, absurd, great for group plots and will talk to anyone.
Cons: Not sure how long he would last in this setting as far as actual plot goes.

Vocaloid: Hatsune Miku
What it says on the tin. That teal-haired anime girl you see pretty much everywhere. She sings. She's a program.

Pros: Social, very pleasant, would probably talk/have CR with anyone who stuck their nose in the door. Also she would sing about vegetable juice to robots. What more could you want?
Cons: She'd likely be a console-only nonphysical character since she's a program. Playing her can be iffy and she's very HTML heavy to type as.

Brave of Gold | Goldran: Dran
Another from the brave series (different show, different plot). He's a samurai-eque bot who has 99 problems and all of them are kids. He's very harried and tries to make the best of his situation.

Pros: He's ridic. He comes from a silly show where robots can get pregnant by kissing each other. Yes I'm serious.
Cons: Not terribly social. Might fall under the same category as Deckerd as far as "generic hero types".


Anyways... some votes or "IDGAF" even would be cool. Really unsure about this.

Hum... hello! Out of curiosity, how does the game feels about... well, someone not having English as a first language?

Also, how hard is the application system?

I really don't have a good answer for the first question since I'm very new to the game myself. I don't think there's anyone in the game that would care about that, but it is a writing-based game in English, so I imagine it would depend on how confident you feel your language skills are? Sorry I can't be of more help with this. :(

As for the application system, I found it pretty easy. It primarily consists of a character personality section and two different kinds of writing samples - just stuff to demonstrate you can fit into the scope of the game and understand the character. From looking around at other games, it seems pretty comparable to the norm for what's asked for?

If you answered yes, then boy have we got the game for you!
waterscape is a brand new panfandom, OC-friendly, AU-friendly game set in a space ship full of ocean! The apocalypse came and went, and a great Ark flies through the void scooping up fragments of the worlds that were. Characters have been "rescued", rebuilt to survive in their new watery home, and spat out into the vast waterscape.
What will become of them? WHO KNOWS?!
GAME SPECS:
- You app it, we'll read it. No guarantee we'll let it in, but the chances are good if you're sufficiently fantastic!
- Game operates with a main community for face to face interaction and a side community for space mermaid telepathy. Write in actionspam or prose, whichever you prefer!
- Open plotting and exploring! Characters can find new places and things, and players can be the ones to decide what those things are. There are some pre-planned ones as well!
- Want to know how the world ended? Well, you can find out! Characters will have opportunities to discover what went wrong. Don't care? That's fine too, it's optional!

GAME ITSELF opens on JULY 18th, regardless of what happens unless the mod's life explodes.

Please, do so! Sailor Moon muses would be loved. And I'm sure the Madoka cast (which I'm not in), would love a different magical girl series to contrast with.

Welcome to Appena Estate

A child laughs. It starts off quiet, distant, but grows in volume with each passing moment. Once the laugh gets loud enough, your body is entranced to move. Where you're going, you don't know, but you can't turn away. You can't fight the control. Your surroundings change. What was once home has now morphed into a drawbridge surrounded by a moat. In front of you, a castle straight out of a fairy tale. Your steps continue until you're deep inside the entrance hall. The laughing stops. You still. Silence. Then you hear a girl's voice echo across the hall. "Welcome to my house. I hope you have fun here. I know I do." You're able to move again. When you turn, the main gate is closed. The drawbridge is gone. There's obvious signs of life inside the moat. You're stuck. Appena Estate is a Panfandom, Community-based RP. The horror elements of the game invite torture, both mentally and physically, and may push your character past their breaking point. More details can be found in the links!
