Welcome to Hogwarts

As a spin on the usual Harry Potter premise, Magic Draft is a panfandom game set well before The Chosen One's time; it's gone back to 1945. A war has just ended and you are needed to prevent another rein of terror being unleashed. Though there is another option there.

Note, MD is not an AU game. Sorted into a house with a wand of their own, your character isn't going to wake up in their world, but the wizarding one. They shouldn't have much to worry about, though! Aside from the usual castle hazards... mostly.

Characters live as students of Hogwarts, and some may be advanced enough to assist professors - some could eventually teach their own course if they work towards it! And if all of this sounds too light-hearted for you, there's a secret brewing within the castle walls... why don't you ask young Tom Riddle about it?

It's a great game for those looking for a slow-medium pace and easy AC. Extensive knowledge of the world of Harry Potter isn't a requirement, either! There's plenty of information available to learn about it. We're comm-based, and the setting has relaxed since our opening last year, though even with a new time period, the presence of darker underlying themes has remained.

Starting anew with a small player base, we hope to continue to grow! Though we don't accept OCs or fandom AUs at this time, canon AUs and obscure characters are welcome, as well as non-human ones if any are to your interest!
