Lone canon warrior here. Outside of the Marvel and DCU casts there are a good number of similarly lone canon warriors throughout the game. You wouldn't be alone in that regard, and so far I've been very comfortable tagging new players and vice versa.

It's a different experience for every player, but so far I haven't hit a snag culling cross-canon CR with new players.
