scorched is a panfandom jamjar game accepting of both canon characters and original characters!

The game is centered in the last inhabitable domain in the world known as the Sphere, a domain consisting of the main city, Anatole; two islands, Themis and Wynn; and a corrupt undercity known as Dismas. The story follows the rulers of Anatole, a pair known best as The Twins, mysterious and powerful children orphaned many years ago and presumably linked to the downfall of the now virtually extinct Veneficus, the mages of the Sphere. Before recent events, the Twins kept mostly to themselves, but now they have begun to move, involving themselves more actively in the affairs of this city of theirs, and in the lives of the characters inhabiting it.

Events vary; we have everything from lighthearted parties, to open-ended opportunity plots, to events that are not only world-altering, but liable to heavily impact characters. As well, we have a bimonthly themed writing event known as Broadcast Mind (or BCM) that takes place, permitting the Network to broadcast a character's dreams, memories, or thoughts to the public!

Activity requirements are relatively lax, and the pace of the game is, presently, slow to moderate.
