A survival/horror adventure!

You wake up in a small dorm room, full of stainless steel furniture and lit with fluorescent lights; when you go into the hall, your name is on the door. The sterile lighting continues down the hall, and continues, and continues. The hallway seems neverending, full of twists and turns. You pass doors -- some labeled with peoples' names, and some labeled as laboratories. This place contains items, creatures and weapons from countless worlds and none of them are safe.

If you keep walking long enough, eventually you will wind up at the same place, almost as if you found the heart of the building. Here you'll find the machine that's brought you here. It likes you and it’s going to keep you. It wants you to be happy here... or else.

The machine is always listening and always watching. Be careful how you talk about it and about the home it's created for you, as it works hard to make this place what you want. Within reason, of course. Its purpose is to take care of you how it sees fit. It can punish and reward you, depending on how you behave. Don't be too ungrateful, now.

Cape Kore is a small, relatively slow-paced game (3:1 OOC:IC ratio) with an easy AC. There is an emphasis on survival with horror elements in some plots and events. The game has a slow-moving plot that can and will be affected by the action or inaction of the characters, as well as more isolated mod-run and player-run plots and events and room for slice-of-life.

Due to the concept and nature of the game, all players must be at least 18 an characters must be at least 16, but can be aged up to 18 if the player chooses. Aging up of under-16 characters will be approved on a case-by-case basis.

We would love to see any currently-not-taken characters in addition to the specific ones that players have requested below.

The setting changed during the month of October, introducing new elements to the game! Now with more questionable food, unsettling laboratories, and one eerie, semi-sentient machine.

Reserves are open from the 1st to the 10th. Applications are open from the 11th to the 20th. You must reserve in order to submit an application.
