I'm more of a casual fan as I mainly got into it by watching the cartoons as a kid and watching a show called Atop the Fourth Wall, which is a web show of a guy reviewing comic books and does storylines sometimes.
Yeah for the games I don't have systems for, I usually watch walkthoughs on youtube. The only systems I have at the moment is Xbox 360 and PS2. Can't afford the newest ones.
The designs did seem weird at first, but I've grown to like them. Yeah Knuckles looks rather strange, but since he's the strong guy it makes sense he gets some muscles. I'm personally pretty sold on the show, but not so much on the game (mostly because I don't have a Wii-U). How knows? It might be good.
