Brave New World is an AU game set in the world of Pokémon, but a world much changed from that of the games. Due to the hubris of mankind in their attempt to control, capture and enslave the Legendary Pokémon, mankind was almost wiped out by a Pokémon uprising. Taking inspiration from post-apocalyptic settings and the Shin Megami Tensei series, players take on the role of a new order of Trainers, ones bearing the typing and abilities of Pokémon and eschewing the old technologies, instead emotionally connecting with any Pokémon they wish to align with. Brave New World combines elements of post-apocalyptic settings with that of discovery and exploration, taking place several centuries after the initial fall mankind is once again moving out to explore the world and rediscover the knowledge of the past while striving not to repeat the same mistakes. Brave New World takes place in an original setting and will eventually allow access to all existing non-Legendary Pokémon in the game.
