You wake up, alone in the dark. There's a breathing tube jammed down your trachea, and you're suspended in a tube of clear blue fluid. Through the fog you can see shadows of movement, the muted sound of alarms crying. Upon registering your level of consciousness, the gravity couch drains the fluid surrounding you and retracts the breathing apparatus; the doors in front of you open, and you're suddenly dropped several feet onto the opposite wall.
It's a rude awakening.
You barely have time to catch your breath in the chaos around you. The sirens of alarms are shrieking in your ears, drowning out the cries of confusion from the people awakening around you, trapped in their gravity couches or stumbling through the wreckage. Through the dim red barely illuminating the destruction of this once pristine medical bay, you catch a glimpse of bright light; a huge rend in the outer wall high above you, overhung by broken structural beams and damaged cabling.
Climbing up takes all the strength you have.
You emerge in bright sunlight, surrounded by an immense jungle. As your vision clears, you realize you stand on the hull of a colossal spaceship, crashed on an alien world. There's a shout behind you, and as you turn, figures climb over the curve of the ship towards you. A hand is extended to you, dirt smeared, calloused and scarred by the efforts necessary for survival.
ATARAXION PLANETFALL is a panfandom science-fiction/horror RPG set on an unknown planet in the aftermath of the spaceship Tranquility crashing on the surface. The game is primarily themed on character-driven exploration and survival, with an overarching plot that will slowly unfold as PCs venture further and discover more about the world around them. The past is not so easily left behind, and the jungle around you hides many dark secrets.
Will you fight to carve out a home for yourself here, or just to survive?
