OKAY WELL THEN CAN I INTEREST YOU IN route_29? It's a journal-based game rather than community-based, which can take some getting used to if that's not your usual scene, but I've been there since last September and I LOVE it there.

It seems to be fairly up your alley:

• Monthly AC takes three proofs, which can be any combination of posts, logs, or threads, as long as each thread is at least 10 comments long (5 from you and 5 from whoever you're threading with). Threads that take place in your character's voicemail count!
• It is very much not a sex game
• No memory loss, though there is mandatory humanization of all non-human characters
• WE HAVE CASTMATES FOR YOU! There's me (Dave), Jade, Karkat (!!!), John, and a Dirk most likely apping in next app round, which is not this coming weekend but the one after. May...7th, I think? Whatever that Saturday is.

Route's one of the chillest, happiest games I've ever had the pleasure to be in. It's hugely slice of life, but it's slice of life WITH POKEMON, what could be better than that? As for events, there's usually either a big event each month or multiple smaller one-day events once a week, depending on the month.

There will be a Fourth Wall Event coming up in May if you want to just drop in and test the waters, and the latest test drive is here. I know all us Homestuck cast would LOVE LOVE LOVE a Terezi, probably particularly me and our Karkat, and even some of the players not currently playing Homestucks have been like YEAH WE NEED TEREZI HERE.

I have a couple DGM characters (Timothy and Miranda specifically), and I am definitely up for crosscanon stuff as well. And shipping, I love shipping too. Especially crosscanon shipping. here's my muselist, though I am in the process of updating it so more characters will be added soon.

I definitely love AUs, especially canon mashup AUs. Actually I have a couple characters that work well in pretty much any canon mashup, so we could work something out I think!

—oh wait, let me also say that I'm here to answer questions. I'll admit that I've been in the game only two months-ish so far and have not been paying especially close attention to events, but I've been finding plenty to do because I'm terrible and pulled Karkat from [S] Game Over. Sooo there's plenty of ground to cover in terms of general character development.

I would also definitely love to have a Terezi around. So there's that.

what sort events have been happening? slice of life is always a bit hard for me, but pokemon might be the fix to that

Hmmm, let me think of a couple highlights since I joined.

Over October's Halloween event, Team Rocket done goofed with a Jirachi wish and made weird uncatchable fusion Pokemon, which then passed on their weirdness to any character who got hurt by them. Those characters then turned half-Pokemon themselves, which was great fun, particularly since we've got quite a few artists in our playerbase who like to do sketches for people. So, basically, we had a furry event.

And as far as the weekly mini-events go, every Friday in February (most mini-events have been taking place on Friday) was some kind of Valentine-themed strangeness based on a Pokemon move. That is, one of those Fridays, affected characters had an insatiable urge to smooch their friends and loved ones (Lovely Kiss), and then another week affected characters had floaty pink shoujo backgrounds randomly appearing around them (Misty Terrain), and so on. That month also featured Project L.U.C.Y, which was basically a double-blind matchmaking event for people to sign themselves, their friends, or their nemeses up with a funny, anonymous profile and watch the madness. You can see what that looked like here.

There have been other mini-events that took away people's filters, and that led to equal amounts hilarity and aching vulnerability as secrets came out. In general, Route itself is a very light-hearted game, but people often bring characters who have been through real difficult stuff so that they can have, you know, nice things. Like, both Karkat's player and I brought our losers from [S] Game Over, so all that painful catharsis has been happening, but ALSO we have cute crap like Dave's Larvesta accidentally incubating everybody's eggs so they hatched a million days early and John training his Swablu to drop fake bird poop on people's heads on April 1st, and so on.

Uhhh, what other events...I know there was a Sharpedonado event at one point, though that was before my time. And an event where Team Rocket created some kind of...angry...Cryogonal/Combee bombs and dropped them on cities? WAY BEFORE MY TIME. Again, silly light-heartedness abounds, but there's something for everyone.

there's a feferi in game, i know a dirk threw in an app already, and my friend is apping in rose w/ me. apps are open now actually, and the game itself is p small so far so it's manageable

It's got a comms system too, so that's also an option for getting your AC stuff done if prose isn't your favorite way to play. One of my other characters has several huge long threads in the comms because she's not all that big on in-person socializing.

cool beans!! it's basically characters in an underwater base (you get gear to swim and stuff) and there's no like written network if that's a dealbreaker...it's ~telepathic~ which dave will obviously use to beatbox and hum mixes into his friends heads, because duh. and there's no memlosss, powercapping, or humanization so terezi could do her blind alien sniff and lick mind seer shenanigans to her blood pusher's content! either way i'm gonna keep hitting you up in memeland so

And loose ends in general, yeah. He still hasn't really talked about Gamzee, for instance, WHICH I AM SURE TEREZI COULD WEIGH IN ON even if she's not [S] Game Overe Terezi. There's also the fact that while there are PLENTY of humans from alternate Earths, there are no trolls from alternate Alternias, even doomed versions, and then there's the whole species thing in general and basically yeah stuff's fucked up.

Reborn really is the biggest troll, it's too bad Gokudera trusts him so much to never realize this. At least, any time soon lol. And yes I think it's great that they both look so different and act a little different but they have so many similarities. They would be the most awkward siblings to ever try to sibling, but at least they'd try.

I haven't! Despite still roleplaying, I'm actually getting back into the dreamwidth scene. I use to roleplay on livejournal so much and I do a few memes on here from every now and then and what not.

This actually looks interesting! Is Erza sided with the mongrels since her hair color is red? :o I might just toss Lucy into the test drive. :]

I'm really excited now because I secretly wanted Erza as one of my cast mates too!

Erza is a mongrel, yes! She's been in game since January and hates being there about as much as you'd expect from Erza...but I'm having a blast with her. It's pretty easy to get involved in plot and if you decide to hop in the TDM, I (and likely several others) will definitely hit you up!

I've actually been looking for FT canonmates for a while now, particularly "Team Natsu," so I'm super happy to see Lucy. FT rpers are pretty rare around these parts.

It'd be really interesting to see either Kara at thelegion, especially from certain canonpoints. The Legion is a panfandom sci fi superhero RP where characters are pulled into the universe of the Legion of Superheroes, set in DC Comics' future, where they become Legionnaires and protect the universe they've found themselves in. Over time they'll have to face down a massive cosmic threat to be able to eventually go home. The game's due to run only 1-2 years as a campaign before it finishes.

Other details:

- slow/medium place
- very backtag friendly
- on the smaller side so it's easy to keep up with

I'd love to play Rich here with Kara. He's friends with Hal Jordan in game, who's been telling him stuff about the supers, and after seeing the Superfamily wing in the Hero museum he thinks they all seem amazing. I also npc Brainiac 5 and it'd be interesting to see either Kara interact with him. This version is in love with Invisible Kid so he wouldn't instacrush like SO many Brainiac 5's do but he's met another Supergirl before, and the whole Brainiac-Superfamily relationship is always fun to play with.
