The air is cold and still. It is silent, aside from the electronic voice of some nearby device that speaks to you, repeating its message incessantly until you comply. The walls, the floor, the ceiling are all unfamiliar to you. You have little food and water, inadequate supplies, and no map to help you get your bearings. You are completely alone.
You have found yourself in an at least half-ruined, abandoned town swallowed by perpetual winter. If the days are chilly, the nights bring treacherously sharp cold and even more snow. Much of the time, you will be alone, your most constant companion a small tablet that connects you to a network composed of travelers like yourself.
Find food, find the records of the previous residents, find whoever or whatever brought you here. Work together with other travelers both in person and over the network to piece together clues and open up new areas. Explore while dealing with the eerie atmosphere that suffocates the town and claws its way into your mind--maybe even literally. Figure out just what happened to this place. Seek a way out. Above all else, keep moving.
In Norfinbury, if you're not moving, you might as well already be dead.
Snowblind is a plot-centered panfandom psychological horror game for ages sixteen and up. With its main themes of isolation, survival, and exploration, it relies on players communicating and interacting with Norfinbury to open up the setting and solve the plot's mysteries. The game is initially capped at one hundred characters, with five per canon, although eventually it will expand. Characters will be able to discover remnants of the past residents and through these remnants figure out what happened and why they're here. If they're lucky, maybe they'll figure out how to go home--or at least how to stop this from ever happening again. While the town itself is unforgiving and dangerous, events will be focused on the psychologically stressful nature of the setting; this is not a game based around fighting monsters. Snowblind is a game with a definite plotline that will run between two and two and a half years.

The Fleet
The Owmi, a spacefaring, nomadic civilization, have been traveling the stars for over a thousand years. That whole time, they have been searching for the remnants of their lost people, the Ibere. When their ancient society fractured long ago, the Owmi received a prophecy that said they would "find them". So far, the Owmi have been unsuccessful; but under the divine direction of their Orakalla, they press on searching the vast expanses between the stars. For belief is a powerful motivator.
However one day the unexpected happened. Stopping to refuel and gather supplies in a non-discript and uninhabited solar system, the Orakalla flared to life and declared, "They are coming," and then fell silent once again.
This caused quite the stir among the Owmi, for this surely meant they would at last be reunited with their lost people.
But, that is not what happened.
Strange people started to appear at the base of the Orakalla, strange people who were not Owmi or Ibere. Strange people who were not from this universe.
The Fleet is a pan-fandom game open to Canon, OC, and Canon AU characters (including CRAU) from all fandoms. It takes place in space where the setting is mostly a fleet of ships (a mix of military and civilian ships) periodically stopping at new locations. It will incorporate jam-jar and slice-of-life elements, with a non-mandatory metaplot that will involve mystery, intrigue, and maybe even space battles. The game will also involve mod-driven plots and player-driven plots. Characters are open to explore various power-gaining options. We are smut-friendly, but not smut-centric. The game environment is conducive to non-human characters and kid characters.

WE THE LOST
Characters will encounter the child god, Zephyr, face-to-face, help them learn, grow, and shape them into a full-fledged god. Zephyr has a name and a form, but they still have much left to figure out about themselves with the help of the characters they bring in. There are also several other gods who occasionally look in on the Meadous and have a tendency to meddle.
Mod-run events occur roughly once a month and range from silly (e.g., a kite flying festival) to serious and dangerous (e.g., gods tampering with the negative emotions of characters).
Will your character come to accept the Meadous as their new home? Or perhaps try to find some means of escape? Or maybe they'll take advantage of the wishing pond. Zephyr can grant many desires, healing characters from their previous games, restoring magic and items, and much more.

The Underground
An AU URBAN FANTASY game set in MODERN-DAY LONDONThere's the London we all know.
And then there's the Underground. The real Underground, a secret world of supernatural forces and strange creatures that walk the city streets hidden in plain sight. Witches, vampires, werewolves. Shapeshifters and humans with extraordinary powers. Ghosts. And the Other Realm, where the fae dwell, and where magic leaks out into every corner of the city.
While the parties of Westminster fight their political battles, there is another much more dangerous power struggle going on. It's a battle for territory, and it is fought by the various supernatural factions that claim dominion over the city.
About the Game
The Underground is an alternate universe (AU) game set in a supernatural version of modern-day London. The game is a mix of urban fantasy and supernatural drama, with slice-of-life elements and political intrigue.

"Welcome to Freesia City," says a guy in a pair of really cool glittery sunglasses. "It's a bit of a mess, which is why you're here. You have been gifted. Try not to die."
There's a world that needs saving, so your character has been snatched from their world and trapped in Freesia City. They will be armed with a magical ability in order to fight off shadow monsters leaking through from another dimension, who may try to recruit them in exchange for more powerful magic.

In the wake of Malicant's defeat, the kedan have taken back both their identities and the city of Keeliai in the merged Dreaming and Life Planes. The hatchling turtles, the last offspring of their cosmic race, were forced to abandon their home and return to the seas of Konryu, and their exact whereabouts are unknown.
Three major family factions -- the mafia-like Snakes, the reclusive Woodsmen, and the industrious Metalworkers -- have risen to prominence while the Foreigners were absent. They now dominate the city with a power struggle that has spawned new allegiances, new technology, and new threats to be faced. Meanwhile, the other nations of Konryu, no longer united by the threat of Malicant, have turned their eyes to Tu Vishan, looking to take its wealth and resources for themselves.
Moreover, the distinction between the merged Life and Dreaming planes is fading, and with that comes the discovery of strange abilities to conjure -- both intentionally and not -- things into reality. Combined with magical artifacts bestowing unusual powers on those who find them, life on the turtle is anything but tame.
For the Foreigners who remain on Tu Vishan, and those who now find themselves arriving through tears in the fabric of the realms, they must forge a new path for themselves in a world who does not believe it needs them any longer. How will they choose to be involved in writing the new history of Keeliai? Will some take this opportunity to make a niche for themselves in the complicated political arena, or in the secretive black market? Will they make alliances or enemies of the many other nations coming to call?

People of the living world fear the dark and hide themselves.
People of the land of the dead slip into the darkness and dominate it.
People in the past said that one could meet apparitions at that time…

There is more to this world than what we humans can see. We have glaring blind spots where creatures of the Far Shore lurk. Often, they are content to let us live our lives peacefully, but there are dark beings among them - the ayakashi. All bad things that happen in the world can be attributed to the taint of the ayakashi and though the gods fight to vanquish these negative spirits, there are too many for any real progress to be made.
The gods themselves inhabit the Far Shore as well and stay away from the Near Shore - the world of humans - as much as they can. However, they hear every wish and they are dedicated to their followers, doing whatever they can to fulfill the prayers that are brought to them with the help of their divine weapons, the shinki. Shinki are departed souls turned to tools by the gods themselves, made to serve. While they are similar to the ayakashi, shinki have been given human names, so that they may live like humans, though not quite as humans.
Many of the gods continue to live simply because there are humans that believe in and pray to them. They are, in every sense, immortal. Their physical bodies can be killed with great effort, but they will simply reincarnate after their death. Sometimes, the Heavens use this to their advantage, killing off one incarnation of a god in order to birth a new generation that will be more willing to do what the leaders of the Heavens want them to do. No one can ever quite grasp what it is that the Heavens are looking to accomplish, but the general consensus is that they want to keep the peace between the Near and Far Shores.
Lately, though, the Heavens have taken their meddling up a notch. Not only are they executing gods from all over the world, they are reincarnating those gods using the souls of sentient beings from every possible universe in existence, causing those beings to be ripped from their homes and forcing them to become gods and confining them to only being able to enter a small portion of the Near Shore - specifically Japan. Premise
You'll have a little more luck with Marie, who lives in one of Tom's dollhouses (she's a fairy, you see). She's talkative enough, if you give her a reason to let you stick around; it generally involves moving things. She'll tell you that they thought it was lycanthropy at first. Which wasn't wrong, necessarily. It's just that they missed a few species.
Bagshot Heath, across the channel? It's not a city, or country, exactly, more like a conglomeration of hamlets and villages. They cared a lot more about keeping the plague from spreading than saving Byrgen. "Treatment" was left to the church, instead. They attended to the unnatural transformations with a liberal application of fire, silver, and prayer.
It didn't help much.
The changes were distressing to everyone involved. Itching skin as fur grew out where it had never been before. Skull-splitting pain as bones shifted to make room for horns. Flesh sloughing off, revealing scales or rubbery skin underneath. But it wasn't truly dangerous until the instincts started to emerge. The unaffected and those of more 'gentle' transformations were soon finding themselves at the mercy of their old friends and neighbors, filled with supernatural strength and speed, and terrifying, sadistic urges.
When it got out just how bad things were getting, the people across the channel decided not to take any chances. They cut off contact, and the quarantine became enforced by guns and canons. They weren't coming to help.
In three months, the town was half empty, either dead or having run off into the forest. Another couple months after that? Well, look around.
Then new people started to appear. People like you.
Marie will tell you that the change is gonna start soon, probably. She might ask if she can 'play with you' at some point, which is a euphemism. For sex. Most things are euphemisms for sex in Byrgen, because that's how you keep sane: sex.
It's not like there's anything better to do with your time, anyway. What are you gonna do? Break quarantine? Cure the disease? Yeah, right.
Right?
The game is focused on survival, world building, and exploration. Characters must work together in order to uncover the truth behind the strange transformations afflicting them, while navigating the strange world that’s trapped them.

✿ You wake up at a desk in a classroom, your hand clutching a piece of paper rolled up and tied with red ribbon. Beyond the windows is a flat grey fog. Outside the windows at the end of the room furthest from you stands a tree bursting with pink blossoms - but no, you lean closer to the window and there is no tree outside. The blossoms are painted onto the window, and are strangely shaped. Near the painted flowers stands a teacher, arms crossed, glaring straight at you. The teacher turns back to the blackboard and begins to speak, but you understand nothing.
Was everything you remember a dream? As you look at the students, some whispering and others smirking, all stealing glances at you, you realize they all look exactly the same. And when evening descends, all too soon, you begin to realize the halls are not what they seem.
✿ Inugami is a panfandom high school psychological/body horror game with a focus on the Lovecraft mythos and Japanese mythology. Your character takes the role of a student at Inugami Academy, where everything is eerily normal - but only on the surface. They can attend classes, join clubs, and use school facilities, or they may choose not to. But remember - every choice has its consequences.

You open your eyes and see you’re in a giant winged egg-like building, in a world completely different from your own home. Floating bunnies are here to greet you, cheerfully handing you a journal and chirping encouragements to write to those you know. From the doorway, you can smell the sea, hear the wind in the trees, see the long road sprawling out to meet a little city before you. It’s almost peaceful, even though when you try to step out, you’re blocked from leaving by a powerful force. Outside, the world seems bright and warm, and the voices behind you are cheerful. But still, you cannot leave.

❀ Kiseki is a panfandom jamjar game set in the separate world of Miracle Country, a series of magical islands. It is a CLAMP inspired (meaning series such as Card Captor Sakura, X/1999, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, and Magic Knight Rayearth – just to name a few), but no prior knowledge of the manga-ka is necessary to join – it’s great for both CLAMP enthusiasts and canon-blind appers.
❀ Kiseki has both game-wide events and player-run plots, with events tending to run on at least a monthly basis, ranging in themes from fluffy/shippy to more action/plot-heavy events. There’s a range from light-hearted, slice-of-life events to more horror-based or survival-based. Often our largest events involve AU changes – either of the setting or of the characters’ lives (all temporary, of course). Events are also replayable, inviting more character-driven plotting. There’s a huge emphasis on building CR and interpersonal relationships between characters.
❀ Kiseki is a small game (11 players and 38 characters) with a small and friendly player base, very backtag friendly and accommodating to all tagging-speeds and tagging styles; we have a bi-monthly AC of 35 comments total or one open post.
❀ Reserves are always open and last for one week, and the application itself is simple: no third person required! TDM threads can be used in the application to provide a sample of the character’s voice and characterization.
❀ The game pace is overall medium-paced, sometimes faster during events and comments tend more towards comment-spam rather than prose. However, our players match pace and format easily and the game accommodates all tagging speeds and styles.
❀ The game is comm-based and gameplay consists of both open logs and journal entries posted through magically-connected paper journals.
❀ We now have a test drive open to everyone!
❀ Kiseki has no medium divide with players – anime, video game, cartoon, and LA characters are all welcome! We are also lone canon warrior friendly and obscure canon friendly.
❀ Kiseki is all around ship-friendly. Both canon ships, cross-canon ships, and cross-media ships are welcome!
❀ There is no forced-humanization for non-human characters. Power-nerfing is relative, usually left up to the player’s discretion. Characters with powers that are too disruptive can work things out with the mods, who will do their best to accommodate them and the game itself.
❀ Kiseki is kid character friendly, with characters as young as six or seven in game before. The mods are always willing to work out accommodations and consider them when designing events.
❀ We are on insanejournal which means all free accounts get 100 free icons; insanejournal is currently on invite-code only, so please feel free to poke me if you need a code – upon acceptance into the game, an invite code can be provided if you need it.

Welcome to New Dodge. It's a small settlement at the edge of explored space, comprised of people who were both recruited for study or arriving by accident. There are even some inhabitants who have come from other worlds in our universe. All for the chance to populate a new world, to learn new things or to escape their past lives.
Whatever has happened to you, all of that is in the past. If you are a criminal, no one needs to know. We have technology to make you well, to replace lost limbs, to restore sight, to invigorate and extend your life. You will be provided with employment and shelter. We can give you a fresh start. A new chance. A second chance.
You will be contractually obligated to remain at the settlement for six months, barring incidents and accidents beyond your (or our) control.
