You open your eyes and see you’re in a giant winged egg-like building, in a world completely different from your own home. Smiling women are here to greet you, cheerfully handing you a journal and chirping encouragements to write to those you know. From the doorway, you can smell the sea, hear the wind in the trees, see the long road sprawling out to meet a little city before you. It’s almost peaceful, even though when you try to step out, you’re blocked from leaving by a powerful force. Outside, the world seems bright and warm, and the voices behind you are cheerful. But still, you cannot leave.

Kiseki is a journal-based, slice-of-life jamjar game, with a small and friendly playerbase! We have 8 players and 31 characters, currently, and always hoping for more. The setting is light-hearted with occasional underlying creepiness (think Outo Country in Tsubasa), and we have player-run plots and game-wide events regularly.
We are a CLAMP-only game, great for minor, underappreciated CLAMP series and characters as well as the popular ones!
Reserves are always open and last for a week. The application itself is simple (no third person!). Game pace can be fast for a small game (during events, usually) but overall is slow to medium-paced. Comments are usually comment-spam, everyone is very backtag friendly, and our bi-monthly AC is low-pressure.
Additionally, we are on Insanejournal, which means 100 free icons! (I’m happy to make icon sets for anyone interested, or to provide HQ scans and raws.)

In some cases, we also allow YOUNGER VERSIONS of characters or MULTIPLES OF CHARACTERS, provided there’s enough difference between the different time-points and enough canon. So if a character you want is taken, there’s a possibility you could still have a chance to play them!
Cape Kore
A survival/mystery/horror adventure!
Your character wakes up in a small, strange little town on a cape. There are empty, broken docks, a lighthouse and only one road out that leads to a downed bridge. Some of the homes are lived in, others are abandoned. There is a communicator attached to your character's wrist. The communicators are the only programmable technology your character will find other than the untouchable cameras. Even the clocks are all analog. Everything in the town is old or low-tech. Kitchen appliances and washers have turn-dials, the televisions could easily be from the 80s and there isn't anything even remotely like a computer in sight.
There are cameras everywhere filming your character's every move and the scientists are watching, but they've still given no clue as to who they are or how they are constantly repairing their cameras. No one is even sure why or how anyone is here and the food is running low. The only thing anyone knows for sure is that they can't leave and new people and things arrive all the time.

Cape Kore is a small, relatively slow-paced game (3:1 OOC:IC ratio) with an easy AC. There is an emphasis on survival with both horror and mystery elements in some plots and events. The game has a slow-moving plot that can and will be affected by the action or inaction of the characters, as well as more isolated mod-run and player-run plots and events and room for slice-of-life.
Due to the concept and nature of the game, all players must be at least 18 an characters must be at least 16, but can be aged up to 18 if the player chooses. Aging up of under-16 characters will be approved on a case-by-case basis.
We would love to see any currently-not-taken characters in addition to the specific ones that players have requested below.
Reserves are open from the 1st to the 10th. Applications are open from the 11th to the 20th. You must reserve in order to submit an application.

When Balamb Garden opened its doors to the sudden influx of misplaced individuals forced into the world as a result of Time Compression, it did so out of charity and kindness. Headmaster Cid felt sympathy for these estranged folk, trapped far from their proper homes, on a world where their strange powers were met with hostility and fear.
And so these foreigners trained, and continue to train, as the mercenary elites know as SeeDs. And for some years now, time has marched resolutely on, and offworlders have become more and more integrated as cadets, SeeDs, Instructors, and staff at the Garden.
But no good deed goes unpunished. With its reputation damaged by its openness and its finances bled nearly dry, Balamb has undergone drastic and alarming changes. A new Commander, Erlea Zabala, has gained power as a result of backroom maneuvering, and her decree to Garden is simple: Time to repay us with work and effort. Go out into an unwelcoming world and earn your keep.
Witches Reign is a panfandom, community-based, OC-friendly RP that takes place in the unnamed world of Final Fantasy VIII, twenty-three years after the events of the game. One part school setting, one part political/war drama and one part slice-of-life, we have something for everyone:

Outer Divide is a panfandom sci-fi open world game. We accept characters from all mediums, as well as AUs, Fandom OCs, and Original Characters.
After new arrivals awaken in the ship they are free to explore the entire planet of Verdana. The only places they'll have difficulty entering are the Plagued Lands, and the remaining domed cities. The Outer Inhabitants are still rebuilding, and aside from the quarantine line, most of the technologies remaining resemble those of 20th and 21st century Earth.
Much of the world has become overgrown and filled with wildlife. The majority of the animals are similar to those found on Earth, including many extinct or mythical creatures. It's not unheard of to cross paths with a dinosaur in the wilderness.

The spells and wards that once kept Attollo hidden and protected from outside forces have weakened and finally collapsed, leading to the invasion of the realm and the subsequent overthrowing of Arawn and his brethren. A much stronger and far more sinister and malevolent force has taken the reins. They have transformed the land, giving the darker nature of Attollo a chance to come forth and overrun the entire land.
Zul, the Wise of an ancient sect of immortal mages, Esha, the queen of all Succubi and Vozar, the Fallen One and purveyor of temptation have joined their considerable forces together to overthrow the old rulers of Attollo and imprison them where they can never been found. However, it doesn't just stop at Attollo. They have many more plans and far reaching goals they wish to achieve and they shall do so by any means necessary. Thus the embassaries are task with finding and recruiting the souls that are needed to help their masters achieve their goals.

Languishment is a panfandom, 18+ sex-oriented roleplaying game set in the dark, mysterious and fantastical world of Attollo. Drawn in from an array of different dimensions and thrust into a world of magic and supernatural phenomena, characters are not just seen as an experiment any longer, but they are also seen as tools and a means to an end.
We are reviving the game with an exciting new plot, and we are open to canon characters, OCs and CR imports from other games. We currently have a cap of 80 characters in the game at one time, with cast caps of ten per canon. Reserves are mandatory before applying.
The land of Attollo awaits you. What will happen to you upon finding yourself here is anyone's guess...
3 Steps From Paradise
Nothing. It seems like forever, then suddenly, there is light. All around you stand the buildings of a futuristic paradise. It echoes emptily, yet water flows and electricity hums. By your side stands a strange doctor explaining already even though you've just woken up, and offering what people of the modern day will note is similar to a smart phone. Ringing quite impatiently, a voice waits on the other side: "You've arrived. Welcome to our game..."
The multi-verse stands just as surely as people imagine it. Its inhabitants are beings so beyond our mortal scope and ability to behold that they are simply known as gods. We give them a great many names, and imagine them in a great many ways. The only thing everyone can agree on, for the most part, is that they exist. They are our creators, our caretakers, and most prominently, our game masters. We exist for their amusement, and have, from time to time, played parts in a great many of their games. As it stands, three gods that preside over one particular floor of the multi-verse have invited the others for a game of amusement, laying the ultimate trap by invoking the other gods' pride when their game had been declined: "It's perfectly understandable if you think our creations can best yours."
So now you are a pawn in a game. The game is oft spoken of, but never mentioned in detail. Reminders lay everywhere, and for those few that think their gods have abandoned them and left them to their own fate, there are reminders they are everywhere as well. Plots to overthrow these three would-be game masters are in the works with traps having been carefully lain, and all that needs added is the final ingredient: pawns.

Country Within the Palace
The Country Within the Palace was once a prosperous, thriving land. However, in its wealth and power, it gained envious rivals - the Djinn and their Masters who wished to claim the land for their own.
In the resulting siege upon the Country, the Djinn shattered the one of the Maharajah's favorite treasures - his seeing crystal. The crystal ball was his means of looking into other realms, other universes - and upon its breaking, the many doorways opened, each shard's magic reaching out across the vast spans of space and time to pull Heroes and Heroines to the Country.
The Djinn then saw that the destruction of the crystal ball could instead become the Maharajah's advantage as new soldiers were magicked into the Palace - so they laid a powerful curse upon him and the Country, sacrificing their blood - and his - in the oldest of rituals. They tied his fate to the crystal and to its purpose, much as the Djinn once had their fates tied to concrete, albeit mundane objects, like lamps and rings and other worthless trinkets. This was their revenge.
Instead of allowing the crystal to become the Maharajah's weapon, they had made it his life. What was once his pastime would now be his existence. The foreigners that he had observed . . . he was now doomed to keep watching - else the land would fall.
Each shard was to open one door through the universe for one Hero or Heroine. The Maharajah then decided - he would close all the doors, and thus end the magic of the crystal. Should the Hero or Heroine fight for the Maharajah and fulfill his or her duty, he or she may return home by the Maharajah's magic, and the door of his or her shard will close. The shard will lose its magic, and thus, will lose its purpose and its ties to the Maharajah's fate.
This is why you, Heroes and Heroines, are important. The powerful Maharajah begs for your benevolence. Give power to the land. Take up arms for the land . . . and allow yourselves the pleasure of the flesh. For this was what the seeing crystal was for - so that the Maharajah could see the consummation of love and passion across the firmaments of the universe.
Give yourselves to give strength to the Country - you will be justly rewarded. Once you have fulfilled your purpose, crystal's magic will end, and you, Hero or Heroine, may return home, and the Maharajah is one shard closer to victory . . .

Country within the Palace
We are a small, 18+, community-based game set in a place known as the Country within the Palace. Characters will find themselves in a small, shabby room with a gift basket and note asking them to have sex. Sex aids the Country, and characters who help are rewarded with favor, which in turn helps them ascend to higher castes and better living conditions. While the premise encourages smut, it is not a requirement. CWP also has an action-adventure focus, and characters can gain favor by completing missions and carrying out tasks for one of three guilds.
We are very back-tag friendly and slow-paced, though activity does tend to pick up to a medium pace during events.

You are now in Nusquamton, a patchwork of the lost streets of a thousand cities: London, Paris, Madrid, Calcutta among others. It is a city in flux, changing from day to day. Nonetheless, there are some features that are always the same: a port to the West, fed by a deep, slow river that bisects the city, the Steam District in the north, (the height of technological achievement, colorful and busy, but prone to explosions). To the South lies the dilapidated neighborhood known as the Marsh, where the strange vapors of the nearby swamp give rise to shambling hordes of undead and other unsettling things, from time to time. (There are even rumours of a headless horseman!) Beyond the city, there are moors, meadows and forests outside of the city, all stretching to the horizon...
However...
Those who venture out that far, will find that, once there, they're facing the city again. The same goes for those who book passage on one of the ships out of the port. Your character is trapped. Will they make the best of it? Or will they make a little chaos in a bid to free themselves?

The Bastion
Designed by talented mechanics, the Bastion was meant to be both a sanctuary and a defense mechanism at once. Should the world ever fall into war, the Bastion could be activated, giving refugees a save place to flee to. The Bastion was meant to be self-monitoring, and could take care of all the needs of its population without any interference.
However, nobody expected the Calamity. Millions perished in the blink of an eye, and the world itself was torn to shreds. All that remains is the Skyway, a collection of floating lands that occupy the space once inhabited by an entire world. The Calamity was so terrible that the Bastion itself was damaged, and it lacks the power necessary to repair itself.
In order to repair the Bastion, characters will have to search for Cores on the Skyway. They provide the power necessary for the Bastion to repair itself, and each Core brings the Bastion one step closer to being 100% operational. Until then, everyone who survived the Calamity will have to work together to survive and keep the monsters of the Skyway out of the Bastion, lest the last sanctuary of mankind fall to the horrors that lurk outside its borders.
The Bastion is a panfandom, plot-heavy game set in the world of Bastion with a focus on the consequences of choices made by the characters within the game. Characters will be able to shape the setting as they see fit, and ultimately it is up to them to repair the Bastion and make a new home for all living creatures. You do not have to have played Bastion to app into this game.
· 1 IC day = 3 OOC days
· Applications are always open and are usually processed within 24 hours.
· We accept OUs, AUs, and OCs.
· There is no Activity Check.
· This is a plot-based game. While there are some slice-of-life elements in it, there is also a plot that drives the game.
· There are survival elements to the game as well. Characters had to scavenge for supplies and look for survivors. The areas characters can search through expand with each plot-related event.
· Game-wide events are designed to fit into the over-arching plot of Bastion.
· Plot-related events happen once every four-to-six weeks. Smaller, mini-events happen in-between those.
· Actions characters take will have an effect on the game itself. Both positive and negative consequences can come from choices made.
· The game has a set ending point. There are several different possible endings to the game, depending on the choices characters make.
· Prior knowledge of Bastion is not necessary; all important terms and game locations are described on the information pages.
· Teamwork is required for survival.

Tristan, the Nysgod prince, has come of age and he must choose a partner from among the mortal races. In an effort to aid him in this task, the Grasp was created.
Part shadow, part magic, part technology, the Grasp has begun drawing people into the city of Dagaz from all worlds and times touched by the Nysgod people. Your race, gender, age, and species are of no importance. If the Grasp finds something interesting in you, if it thinks you might be a suitable partner for Prince Tristan, you will be found.

Throne of Shadows is a panfandom RPG with a slant toward high fantasy and science fiction, with interactions that will take place in both log and network formats. Taking place in the mythical city of Dagaz, the game guides players through the twists and turns of Nysgod politics as the shocking past of the realm is slowly revealed.
While there is an over-arching metaplot that will be revealed in stages, Throne of Shadows is also a player plot friendly game, allowing players to create their own shenanigans within the confines of the story. We are smut-friendly, although not smut-centric.
