Revenance is a medium-slow community-based backtag friendly game set in the dream world of Kingdom Hearts 3D, though you don't need to be KH-savvy to apply. Characters arrive in the realm of dreams, are given a Dream Eater (think technicolor combat-ready Pokemon), and are currently trying to figure out why they're there and how to get out. It's equal parts overarching plot and slice of life, there's plenty of room to build things (we recently had a Tony Stark take advantage of that), and we can definitely work out a network filter for Cid.

Also, I'm a mod and would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

savetheearth is a reincarnation game where characters are reborn as normal humans and gradually regain aspects of their canon selves. We have a growing Tolkien cast (Glorfindel, Kili, Thorin and Fili have apps pending approval, Thranduil is on reserve, Aragorn on hiatus) but the game's also very good about outside-cast CR. Would I be able to interest you in forced_rpg? It's a panfandom game that takes place during the Star Wars Original Trilogy, and is opening soon. It hasn't opened yet, but is going to open soon, so there's really no way to tell if it will be fast or slow yet, but it otherwise fits all of your preferences except for transplanted CR's.

— DW only, please
— Castmates are cool but not at all required. (In fact, small/nonexistent casts might be better, because odds are I will probably be apping in with a few assorted castmates depending on the game and the circumstances!)
— Pace is pretty negotiable. Somewhere vague between "not blindingly fast but not crazy slow." I do lean way more to log tags than commentspam/network stuff, so an active log comm or an emphasis on face to face interaction is a plus.
— Plotty, action oriented, something to keep him busy. I've got a soft spot for horror games, but I'll give absolutely anything that doesn't lean too far to slice of life a look.

— No sex-focused games/strictly slice of life games/crack games.
— Not too hot on aus/memory loss for him but I can sort of take or leave them on a case by case basis. In those cases, though, I do prefer something where canon memories can/will be regained over time

That's about it! I know he's a pretty popularly played character right now, and I'm having a really hard time finding a place I'm into where he's free, so any and all suggestions would be helpful while I try to sort out what my options are.

We're journal-based, with the pace roughly described as "medium" depending on whether it's event time or not. While the characters can use magical journals for communication (it's got voice, video and written functions), we're also very prone to using action brackets for face-to-face interactions and our log community gets plenty of use!

Right now we've got Marco, Jean, Erwin and Levi, with a possible Armin on reserve. Also, we've got a test drive community at trainingwings, in case you just wanna try the setting out. Heck, there's a fourth wall event going on this weekend, so you can jump right in if you'd like!

Have you considered mylittlejamjar? It's mostly SoL, but there's definitely a plot and there's an Eleventh Doctor, metacrisis!Ten, and Donna already there. The pace is medium, I'd say. There's a dungeon to explore, and there's a forest of magical madness, as well, if the Doctor's wanting to be daring.

Not sure how you feel about turning him into a pony, though. That is one of the things that's part of the game!

Hi! Can I interest you in Throne of Shadows? It meets your requirements for slow to medium, a super easy AC (just show you've been active that month, and the definition of active is up to you. One thread that's 20 comments long? Yup. Five threads that vary from 3-10 comments? Yup. Just as long as you've been doing something!), we're definitely prose- and backtag-friendly, though we have our share of boomerangers too. It's a good mix.

Now, we have loads of castmasts for Bones, but any of yours would be welcome and able to find like minds for CR, I think! (I'm a big Karl fan, so I've seen all these movies.) In the Trek cast, there's a Spock and Gaila from canon and we have a Kirk on reserve. We also have Christine Chapel (who I've AUed into the AOS), a humanized Enterprise, and female versions of Chekov, Kirk, Bones, and Sulu.

As far as the premise/type of game, it's sort of sci-fi fantasy/political intrigue based. But what's great is that you can interact with a lot of NPCs and characters are slowly putting together the bigger picture of why they're really there versus the story the were originally told. You can have as much or as little to do with the metaplot as you want. Also the setting changes periodically. This is the fourth location they've lived in so far. Anyway, I've tl;dr here, so I'll just say I hope you take a look!
