Redshift is brand new (apps are opening in a week) so some things are difficult to say (pacing, for instance) but it might be worth looking at. It's going to be more plot heavy, and so far there's minimal power-nerfing. It seems like a setting that might be fun to play Alarak in though! There's a test drive happening right now too, if that's something you like to do!

Okay, we don't have any canonmates or anything like that, but I think I would die in delight if we got a Diana over in Interstellar.

tl;dr - People from across time and space have been kidnapped to be brainwashed into musical celebrities for Reasons.

What may interest you is that, in January, we'll finally be accepting Rescuer apps! Rescuers can accept the call for help because a castmate of theirs was taken, because they were too drunk to think otherwise, or because, like possibly amazing Diana here, they're actually genuinely good people.

There's a bit of power nerfing in the beginning, just so that the game isn't over just like that, but they're all regainable with bonus AC and stuff. Check it out and let me know what you think!

I'll second that actually. I'm currently in the game as a kidnapped character (Sailor Mars), but I'm actively considering a Preboot Clark as a rescuer.

And it'd also just be rad as hell to have Diana in game.

It's a brand spanking new sci fi, panfandom superhero RP. Reserves are currently open, apps open tomorrow on 12/26, and game start will be on 1/1/16. In the game, mysterious forces are bringing people into the universe of the Legion of Superheroes and giving them powers or the powers they have are being altered. Because most of the Legion disappeared in a battle the year before, the remaining Legionnaires need help restoring order and justice to the galaxy, and the characters are being offered a chance to help the Legion so they have the time and freedom to help the characters get home.

Diana would be amaaaazing. This would definitely be an alternate future to preboot (since it's the universe of an incarnation of the reboot Legion that never lost their world) but it's still the future of a version of DC Comics. And I'd love, love, love to toss my guys like Nova and Zuko at her.

As for the rest:

- not a sex game.
- the game does have a powers system that characters have to fit their powers into (and that gives powers to nonpowered characters) but it doesn't totally nerf powers, it just tries to get all the characters on an even playing field.

Like I said, it's BRAND NEW (which I know not everyone like to app into new games) but apps open next week and the test drive is still happening if you want to give it a whirl!

Maybe teleios might work for you? It's medium pace-ish, I feel like it's about medium in size, too, has some incredibly easy ac. There's an ongoing plot but there's plenty of downtime to make your own plots happen and develop CR. There's a Snow there too.

Interstellar is a small game and while it's on a more medium-fast pace, it's super backtag friendly.

I know you said castmate not required, but we currently do have a Sora (KH) plus a Sans and Undyne (UT). I have it on good authority that for our rescuer apps (which will start to be open next month) that we'll be getting in a Master Riku too.

As for powers- Interstellar has two types of routes you can take via apping. There's musician, where you've been kidnapped and brainwashed into being a musical celebrity across time and space. This would feature humanisation and power loss, but it's all regainable. However, the rescuer apps I mentioned above? Those let you go in as is, no humanisation, and I believe in the proto apps we were shown that characters go in with one power/ability and the rest regainable!

Feel free to check it out, TDM and reserves will be opening... tomorrow actually, ha ha.

thewake fits all of your requirements. There is some temporary power loss at the beginning of the game but your character regains their powers within a month or so. The FAQ and rules were all recently updates and are super user friendly. I can totally answer any questions you have too.

If you're interested I think interstellar5555 might be a good fit for you.

It's pace various from medium to fast, but is very backtag friendly. And is heavily plot driven. It's got under fifty characters so we're pretty small.

Most interesting part is that you can either bring your character in as an abductee brainwashed into being a rockstar, or, starting next month, as a rescuer.

I know you said you don't need cast mates but~ I do play Oikawa there, and we've got a Suga apping next month.

How do characters fare who don't have much in the way of canon skills to regain? Say if I app Yachi as a rescuer; I'm assuming MP doesn't apply to rescuers, or there'll be a different system since the rescuer half of the plotline hasn't started yet?

hello!! just stopping by to give a suggestion ( especially for yachi-!! )

empatheias is on dw, comm based, medium paced and i would consider it a small to mediumish sized game! it's set around world building that relies heavily on what the characters do and their emotions, which affects the environment, npcs, and progress of the game as a whole ( characters can even learn how to use a type of magic based on their emotions called dunamis, which just appeared last month! ). there is a small sol aspect to it, but that isn't the game's focus— we have more of an adventure touch to things with monthly happenings, including game wide events and tons of room to create and explore!

here's our index if you're interested! i'm in the game already with another character, but i'm going to be bringing noya in this round, and i know i'd love to have castmates! apps and reserves are monthly, and open right now, actually— until january 7th! if you have any questions i'll do my best to answer them!!! :)

The sight of a Lucy always makes me squee...! ...But I'm not sure whether or not I have a game that would fit. ;;; The only one Erza's in right now is Salem, which is horror - but also smut, and it... doesn't so much remove your powers, as changes them slowly into something else. (Although magical items can still work.)

Sorry for wasting your time, if that's just. Nothing at all that you'd be interested in. But I just do not see enough Lucy's around to not at least say hi.

I'm actually looking for two games so the more recommendations the better.

Offering Luke Skywalker! In one game he'll be from Legends (post-Thrawn Trilogy) canon, and I'll be apping him with my friend's OC. In the other game he'll be from another canonpoint that I have yet to decide upon, and he'll come in with another friend's Biggs Darklighter.

-This is kind of an odd request, but in one game I'd like there to be a mechanic where the characters don't necessarily have the fear of suddenly disappearing hanging over their heads all the time. Obviously people drop sometimes, but in some games it's explained by characters dying or wandering off on their own or something like that, and isn't something that anyone is expecting to happen. I hope that makes sense.
