Two gods, opposed in all things, struggling for power. One threw open a door, allowing the entrance of evil and chaos - and you. Because power comes from emotion, and you are the thing that can provide that emotion. Your fear and your hope can strengthen the gods, but though they may see you as not much more than ambulatory batteries, that doesn't mean you're powerless. Welcome to the city of Hadriel, where fear and hope battle to manipulate you. Enjoy your stay, and do your best to avoid dying. It makes such a mess.

hadriel is a medium paced horror/choose-your-own-outcome game with an overarching plot arc that characters can alter and effect. The majority of the events are jamjar-esque, which are put on by the various gods designed to make your character feel specific emotions. These emotions give the gods power to further expand the city and establish themselves against the other gods, which then will result in plot events occurring. Look out, though- not everything is quite black and white here, and it's unwise to make such heavy decisions without knowing the full story.

Initially, the two gods in the city are Fear and Hope, each of whom have different types of events to pull fear and hope from your characters. While Fear uses the power he gains to oppose Hope and continue to terrorize the player characters, Hope is attempting to gain power to revive the dead gods. The first and second revivals have already occurred, the goddess Rage who has taken no side in their conflict so far and the goddess Delight who is Hope's ally. The third god has been decided and his revival is underway, the elder and respected Sorrow. As the game progresses, Hope will give the player characters the ability to choose between which gods will be revived; these gods will later initiate events of their own, make alliances, have feuds, and reveal more about the setting and what caused them to die in the first place.

Welcome, Fellow Traveler! The elevator pitch: Exiles meets Diana Wynne Jones’ Homeward Bounders. If you’re familiar with Sliders or Quantum Leap, there’s a bit of that too.

Synodiporia is an AU-hopping panfandom exploration game where ‘event’ and ‘setting’ are one and the same. Unknown entities have gathered a group of people from across the multi-verse, and sent them on a long, strange journey together, crashing into one world after another, meddling in local affairs, and then whisking them off again. In each world some of the travelers are ‘investigators,’ conscious of the fact that they’re new arrivals in a foreign dimension, and some are ‘infiltrators,’ believing themselves to be natives, immersed in local customs, with implanted memories of a life that never was.

As the travelers progress from world to world, they learn new skills - from the natives or from one another. In prohibition-era Brooklyn, gangsters might teach someone how to shoot a tommy gun. In a fantasy kingdom, you might pick up a little wizardry. A PC from the Persona franchise might teach you how to unlock your own Persona, no matter what canon you’re from. You can also learn to manipulate the psychic network linking everyone together, gaining telepathic or dimensional manipulation abilities. As you change the worlds, the worlds change you.

We accept all original characters as well as alternate universe and previous game versions of characters, and under certain conditions, we also can accept multiple versions of the same character. When you apply, your character can be new to Traveling, or a veteran who’s been doing this for quite some time. More information about veteran Travelers can be found on the Previous Universes & Acquiring Skills pages, as well as suggestions for introing a veteran character here.

Besides that, there will be additional mini-events in pocket universes, player plots, dream explorations, Shadow Selves… and the ongoing investigation into the mysterious forces that drew you here. You’re pawns in a game spanning time and space, but a pawn who advances far enough can make big changes, and there are plenty of secrets to uncover.

Applications are open from June 18th-July 5th. We are currently holding a fourth wall event, and getting ready for a Superheroes and Supervillians Jaunt! We hope to see you there!

We have a cap of 100 characters, however with about 82 characters currently, we have plenty of room for new faces! We do not use reserves, but we highly recommend if you are interested in applying that you post to the fourth wall event and get to know some of our current characters.

Welcome to the Omwi Fleet.
The Owmi, a spacefaring, nomadic civilization, have been traveling the stars for over a thousand years. That whole time, they have been searching for the remnants of their lost people, the Ibere. When their ancient society fractured long ago, the Owmi received a prophecy that said they would "find them". So far, the Owmi have been unsuccessful; but under the divine direction of their Orakalla, they press on searching the vast expanses between the stars. For belief is a powerful motivator.

However one day the unexpected happened. Stopping to refuel and gather supplies in a non-discript and uninhabited solar system, the Orakalla flared to life and declared, "They are coming," and then fell silent once again.

This caused quite the stir among the Owmi, for this surely meant they would at last be reunited with their lost people.

But, that is not what happened.

Strange people started to appear at the base of the Orakalla, strange people who were not Owmi or Ibere. Strange people who were not from this universe.

The Fleet is a pan-fandom game open to Canon, OC, and Canon AU characters (including CRAU) from all fandoms. It takes place in space where the setting is mostly a fleet of ships (a mix of military and civilian ships) periodically stopping at new locations. It will incorporate jam-jar and slice-of-life elements, with a non-mandatory metaplot that will involve mystery, intrigue, and maybe even space battles. The game will also involve mod-driven plots and player-driven plots. Characters are open to explore various power-gaining options. We are smut-friendly, but not smut-centric. The game environment is conducive to non-human characters and kid characters.

Subnautica is an underwater adventure and exploration game, borrowing elements of survival and psychological horror as well as slice of life, with a plot driven by characters' choices and interactions with the planet. Characters must explore the depths, chart them and change them using terraforming technology. Characters will also be responsible for taking and managing on the local wildlife, whether through peaceful means or violence. Explore and create. Destroy and change. There's the London we all know.

And then there's the Underground. The real Underground, a secret world of supernatural forces and strange creatures that walk the city streets hidden in plain sight. Witches, vampires, werewolves. Shapeshifters and humans with extraordinary powers. Ghosts. And the Other Realm, where the fae dwell, and where magic leaks out into every corner of the city.

While the parties of Westminster fight their political battles, there is another much more dangerous power struggle going on. It's a battle for territory, and it is fought by the various supernatural factions that claim dominion over the city.

About the Game
The Underground is an alternate universe (AU) game set in a supernatural version of modern-day London. The game is a mix of urban fantasy and supernatural drama, with slice-of-life elements and political intrigue.

• Community-based AU with a focus on political conflict
• Characters must be apped as humans or one of the seven supernatural species that exist in the game
• Characters join factions that are competing to gain power over various territories in London
• Player-driven and player-created plot

The old guard has fallen, paving the way for a new era... In the wake of Malicant's defeat, the kedan have taken back both their identities and the city of Keeliai in the merged Dreaming and Life Planes. The hatchling turtles, the last offspring of their cosmic race, were forced to abandon their home and return to the seas of Konryu, and their exact whereabouts are unknown. Three major family factions -- the mafia-like Snakes, the reclusive Woodsmen, and the industrious Metalworkers -- have risen to prominence while the Foreigners were absent. They now dominate the city with a power struggle that has spawned new allegiances, new technology, and new threats to be faced. Meanwhile, the other nations of Konryu, no longer united by the threat of Malicant, have turned their eyes to Tu Vishan, looking to take its wealth and resources for themselves. Moreover, the distinction between the merged Life and Dreaming planes is fading, and with that comes the discovery of strange abilities to conjure -- both intentionally and not -- things into reality. Combined with magical artifacts bestowing unusual powers on those who find them, life on the turtle is anything but tame. During a battle to save the galaxy, most of the Legion vanished, officially declared missing in action. UPCOMING PLOTS/TEST DRIVE

The Legion has now reached a new stage in its metaplot, and a great jumping-on point, and the stakes couldn't be higher! Now the dimensionally displaced Legionnaires know who brought them to the Legion's universe and why, and they now face the nearly impossible task of saving the multiverse.

Aside from the shift in the metaplot, the game has quite a few upcoming plots over the next few months that new players may enjoy, everything from wielding emotion-fueled power rings, to investigating possible moles within the Legion's team/support staff, to surviving televised death arenas. Characters that are in touch with their emotions or have strong willpower, characters with investigation skills, and characters with unarmed combat and survival skills will find a lot to do in our upcoming plots.

Premise

The dollmaker, Tom, doesn't like to talk about himself, or the ferals, or the plague. He doesn't like to talk about much of anything except in the most generic, rose-colored terms. He'll cheerfully regale you with the tales he'd hear from his neighbor Finnbarr, from before the- from before. Finnbarr was a fisherman, like most everyone in Byrgen. He'd always have a new, grand story of a canoe-sized bass, or another tall tale of sighting a mer. Though maybe those weren’t just stories, after all. You'll have a little more luck with Marie, who lives in one of Tom's dollhouses (she's a fairy, you see). She's talkative enough, if you give her a reason to let you stick around; it generally involves moving things. She'll tell you that they thought it was lycanthropy at first. Which wasn't wrong, necessarily. It's just that they missed a few species. Bagshot Heath, across the channel? It's not a city, or country, exactly, more like a conglomeration of hamlets and villages. They cared a lot more about keeping the plague from spreading than saving Byrgen. "Treatment" was left to the church, instead. They attended to the unnatural transformations with a liberal application of fire, silver, and prayer. It didn't help much. The changes were distressing to everyone involved. Itching skin as fur grew out where it had never been before. Skull-splitting pain as bones shifted to make room for horns. Flesh sloughing off, revealing scales or rubbery skin underneath. But it wasn't truly dangerous until the instincts started to emerge. The unaffected and those of more 'gentle' transformations were soon finding themselves at the mercy of their old friends and neighbors, filled with supernatural strength and speed, and terrifying, sadistic urges. When it got out just how bad things were getting, the people across the channel decided not to take any chances. They cut off contact, and the quarantine became enforced by guns and canons. They weren't coming to help. In three months, the town was half empty, either dead or having run off into the forest. Another couple months after that? Well, look around. Then new people started to appear. People like you. Marie will tell you that the change is gonna start soon, probably. She might ask if she can 'play with you' at some point, which is a euphemism. For sex. Most things are euphemisms for sex in Byrgen, because that's how you keep sane: sex. It's not like there's anything better to do with your time, anyway. What are you gonna do? Break quarantine? Cure the disease? Yeah, right. Right? … townofsalem is a fantasy creature themed sex game. Your characters will find themselves meeting, greeting, and transforming into a variety of humanoid creatures – each with their own otherworldly powers. They’ll have to tread lightly, and get to know one another intimately, if they want to keep their minds from shifting, too. The game is focused on survival, world building, and exploration. Characters must work together in order to uncover the truth behind the strange transformations afflicting them, while navigating the strange world that’s trapped them. cosmographia is a community-based roleplaying game inspired by Steven Universe. Play is focused on your characters becoming magical gems, and exploring what it means to them as well as the world around them.

Cosmographia combines elements of a slice of life setting with plenty of action and adventuring for players to involve themselves in! We also like to encourage player exploration of the world around them and investigating more into the history of the world you've all found yourselves in.

✧ Our Premise

You first glimpse the city through the window of the train.

What is the best part of you? What is the worst you can offer? As soon as you enter the Victorian-style city, the figurative powers that be know just what to expect from you. Your desires, your fears, your past and even your future are an open book from which the threads of dozens of stories can be brought forth and used to draw others in.

Nested near the centre of a large island, surrounded by an unnamed sea and ceilinged by an unfamiliar but star-filled sky, Ruby City is a place of constant change. From the moment they arrive, the residents influence the ebb and flow with their words and deeds, turning their new home into a mirror of themselves and the actions that they choose to take. Be it for better or worse, the vices and virtues displayed by every individual will impact upon the world around them, affecting the daily lives of everyone else who lives there.

Seven powerful beings hold sway over the city, though they too hail from a realm beyond that of the city itself. Their own pasts largely a mystery, they are tied heavily into the mechanics of their current world and are driven to test the residents of it for their own particular, enigmatic benefits. Yet, as they bicker between themselves, the world around them shifts.

In a place where a good deed means more than a smile in return, and an ill one can cost a life.. what will you become?

✧Basics

✧ Ruby City is a friendly, community based game with most communications occurring on the network and many interactions occurring in the log community. Players also have the option of setting up IC inboxes to more easily start and track private network communications, and these can be used towards your activity as 'booster' threads.

✧ We are a 16+ community and use a G through NC-17 rating system for logs.

✧ We are slow-moderate pace with a quicker pace common during events. Our OOC community is friendly and eager to get new applicants involved.

✧ Applications are processed on a weekly basis, usually on Sunday afternoon GMT. We welcome all canon characters, canon OCs, and characters who are completely original.

✧ Activity Check is easy to manage at Ruby City; with just two short proofs necessary in multiple combination possibilities.

✧ Events occur each month and are often run by the mod team. However, game-wide events run and managed by players are allowed and encouraged as well. Players and their characters can have a very real influence on Ruby City's setting and level of danger.

✧ Ruby City is eager to encourage its players to have a hand in shaping the game. From the locations that exist to potential events, players have the ability to shape the city. Characters themselves can influence the world around them with their actions, through a recently developed system attached to the monthly activity check.

✧New and Upcoming

✧ Due to issues with the game direction, we have recently drastically slimmed down our NPC rota and cut out several problematic game mechanics. This gives the mod team more room to make Ruby City a fun place for our players, without getting bogged down in metaphorical paperwork.

✧ We have put forward a new system which will allow character actions to have more of an impact on the game direction in terms of event themes, environmental factors and how the city and surrounding areas react to them. While this is still in its testing phase, we are confident about its potential.
