amatomnes is an 18+ sex based game. The premise of the game is simply that characters have been kidnapped to Atia to have sex in order to supply her with power. That said, it's important to note that it is perfectly fine to handwave any and all sexual encounters if you do want to app. There's a lot of other things going on in Atia, and while sex does happen, it definitely isn't the only thing. We are a pretty active cast looking to play with more Koei Warriors players, because they're so scarce. If you are at all interested in joining us, please let us know!

Our cast is friendly and helpful, and with a few of us owning capture devices, we're able to provide high quality screencaps and movies from the games (including DW7, DW7XL, SW3Z, SW3Empires, MO2, and a lot of the PS2 titles, if you were interested in playing from those) for icons, doujin scans, as well as people who enjoy making icons from said screencaps and doujin scans. We love both of the series and being able to do ALL THE THINGS with other fans and players, so let us know if you're interested!

A little more detail! POLY is community-based and medium-paced, set in a city overseen by bureaucratic and mercurial deities, itself somehow powered by a puzzling underground clock, with curses which vary from whimsical to intricate. Most events are opt-in—including the world plot this month!—which allows for a set-your-own-pace style. And, with only samples and personality sections required (the rest can be linked!), the app is easily one of the most basic and straightforward forms around.

We've had apps promised for Kururu and Akira and we'd love absolutely anybody else we haven't got! Special mentions this month go to Simca, Arthur (app and receive accompanying scary tsundere crossdresser, free of charge!), anyone from Genesis and/or Sleeping Forest both past and present. If you notice that's a good chunk of the cast—well, we weren't kidding about wanting everybody. Castamari or gtfo. ♥

SUPERNATURAL @ damned_institute!!

Ever dreamed of putting your hunter/demon/angel/monster/whatever else into a setting where they're stuck in a mental hospital, being told they're crazy and their whole life is a lie, only to be forced to fight monsters and be experimented on the second night rolls around? Well, then Damned is the place for you!

Damned is a prose-based survival horror jamjar that's been running for years now (since October 2006!) and has a dedicated player-base. Yours truly is one of the mods there and also happens to play Castiel. I used to have a pretty decent cast of Dean, Sam, Ruby, and Gabriel, but they all dropped fairly recently, which means Cas is on his own. :(

So yes, every character except Castiel is open! His canon point is post-518, but any applicants certainly wouldn't have to match that. I've played with all sorts of canon points in the past, so I'm pretty much up for anything and anyone! Dean and Sam are the obvious choices (and I have had one friend express interest in apping Sam, at least), but anyone else -- Bobby, Crowley, Ruby, Gabriel, Balthazar, Anna, Chuck, Lucifer, anyone -- would be amazing. (Definitely most interested in finding a Dean, if you're between two characters.)

Also, seeing how I am a mod, you can rest assured that I won't be flaking out of the game or dropping threads or anything of the sort. I've been playing Cas since July 2010 and don't have any plans to drop him.

smashacademy is a comm-based Super Smash Brothers "High School" game. However, we're not limited to just Nintendo games. We also accept characters from Squareenix, Capcom, Atlus, Namco and Valve! War. Devastation. When you arrive, you find yourself in an abandoned city. You can smell the death, the decaying bodies, gun powder, fire. There's dried blood and remains scattered throughout the city. Buildings aren't cared for. Plants grow on them, through broken windows and overtaking few. Paint is coming off of others, debris lie throughout the streets, alleys, and even inside these buildings.

But then you come to the river. On the other side, the buildings are in perfect condition. Cared for. The streets, as far as you can see, are taken care of. Clean. You go over, trying to figure out what's going on. But when you try to do so, you're shunned. People flee, looking for cover. Pulling children off of the streets and closing their shutters. Classic the-bad-guy-is-here behavior. Someone yells at you, calls you something you can't decipher.

TLV is a Dreamwidth, flist based game.

lastvoyages is highly focused on character development and interactions. It's set on a physics-defying barge in unknown space, where everyone on board is either an inmate or a warden. Wardens are there to redeem inmates in exchange for absolutely anything! The Admiral fulfills their deal once they graduate an inmate. Deals can range from something as simple as wealth and riches to something as selfish (and/or noble) as the return of a deceased loved one. Inmates have died or are near death (canonically or an invented circumstance), and are in need of a second chance: they get that opportunity on the Barge.

The game is of a medium size and pace, journal based with an easy AC, with several small game wide events a month. It's a CR intensive game, often focusing on the serious side of redeeming morally corrupt or gray characters - but with cracky storylines and events worked in from time to time.

Applications open at midnight tonight and will be open for exactly one week! If anyone has questions or concerns about apping a character, we do have a potential apps page, where members can chime in and give input on any character you're thinking of apping. If that's too short a time frame, don't worry - apps open the first full week of every month!

Panfandom, medium-paced and comm-based, Mayfield is known for its stunningly in-depth events, relaxed AC, and large playerbase. It takes place in bland 50's American suburbia; characters are housed together in 'happy little nuclear families' and are stripped of their powers upon arrival, but can gain them back as time goes on. Violence is common during events, but can be opted out of, and a killed character returns to life the next day.

Size: ~450 characters. One of the largest games out there; very well-established.
Pace: Slower than you'd think! Medium-paced most of the time, fast during events. Fairly backtag-friendly.
Mood: Mystery and horror, but with sufficient downtime between events.

Poly is a newly community-based jamjar game in a mysterious City with multiple "curse" events each month that can lead to hilarious or serious shenanigans. Pace is medium-slow; events can get fairly lively, and in between things tend to be a bit more sedate.

Who we'd like to see: Anyone really! But it would be especially awesome to have any of the Twilight Town kids (real or digital versions) and Riku.

I play Naomi Kimishima here (post-Trauma Team) and we also have a Gabe (mid-Patient Zero), and a Derek Stiles (post-Under the Knife 2)! Those three aside, anybody is welcome! Doctors especially, because given SC's plot doctors are a very cool thing to have.

(Can I say that I'd love to have New Blood characters, though? Because I'd love to see New Blood characters, especially to round off our Under the Knife/Second Opinion and Trauma Team generations because that would just be miracles. Also, Markus and Valerie are awesome.)

IN GENERAL: Soul Campaign is a large community-based game set in the Soul Campaign universe, though players aren't required to know anything about the series to app. (Exhibit A: me.) The plot revolves around a war against the Soul Eater witches, and new players lose their innate powers but become living weapons or meisters able to wield said weapons. Meisters and weapons can partner up, and it's generally a fun system and good for CR! The AC (two instances of threads in which you've made seven comments and/or logs in which you've made three comments) is pretty doable too, from my experience.

While the game is currently on LJ, it'll be moving over to Dreamwidth at the beginning of February before the app cycle. Reserves are open, and applications are reviewed mid-February so there's still some time left! The application might be a little intimidating, but the beta system allows you to request for someone to look over your app (including future cast!) for help. We've also got a testdrive meme and a go-to post for questions going on, so if you want to test the waters feel free to hit it up!

Anemoi is a smallish memory loss community-based RP in which characters start out losing most of their memories (save for their name and whatever counts for general knowledge to the character, e.g., the general geography of their home country and whatnot). Confusion, angst, and/or shenanigans may ensue and it can be an interesting way to explore certain characters! More information can be found here. Caligo is a newly opened panfandom RP (but admittedly already big) set in the Persona 3/4 universe, in the small town of Inaba. Naturally Persona 4 elements will play a large part of this game (dungeons, socializing, etc.) but no prior knowledge of the canon is needed to come in and play! Just have fun and exist; the AC here consists of two counts of posts and/or threads. The game's just finished its first app cycle and is due for its second starting February 25. soul_campaign is set in the universe of the Soul Eater series but, like me, you don't actually have to know anything about it to play. There are very good explanations and links in the FAQ and lots of people around to answer any questions you may have. The characters have been sent to Death City, Nevada and have become either a Weapon or a Meister (someone who can wield a Weapon). There is an on-going plot in which the characters can't willingly be returned to their own worlds until a war against the witches is over. About the Game:

Maison De Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose-only, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. It's a school slice of life game with a magical twist, and all we're missing is YOU.

The setting is just after the end of the first Wizarding War. Voldemort was just defeated by an infant mere months ago and his supporters– SOME of his supporters– are being arrested. But for those that are slipping through the cracks, there is still tension and distrust within the community, especially from those who lost loved ones in the course of the war. It is still hard to determine where the loyalties of certain players lie, and no one yet feels completely comfortable speaking the name of You-Know-Who aloud.

But in the meantime, YOU'VE got a Transfigurations paper due, and 'A hippogriff ate my homework' isn't going to cut it.

Sorting Hat Roleplay at Dreamwidth is a small community-based, panfandom AU RPG set in the Harry Potter world, and mainly slice-of-life focused. SIREN’S PULL RPG

sirenspull is a panfandom roleplaying game set in the dystopian city of Siren's Port. You take on the role of a newcomer to the City, pulled from another dimension, another world, another reality, subject to the Pull of the City and held captive by the Core (also known as the Siren) until someone can figure out a way to get everyone out.

Because everyone wants out. The City is subject to a nightly 'Darkness' that pits citizens against monsters, if they choose to be out at night. Society is rife with vice and moral decay, and over it all hangs two factions - SERO and Afterglow, Inc. - two factions with their own agendas and freedom in mind, neither with the cleanest record.

Which side will you choose? Or will you choose neutrality? Will you fight to escape, or will you make the best of your new life? Double-agent or finding true love?

Where you go from here is completely up to you.

Siren's Pull has many facets ranging from plot-heavy war games and strategic roleplaying to survival horror to simple light-hearted character interaction and events. Any playing style or objective is welcome.

RESERVES open on February 15th, and APPLICATIONS open on March 1st. Reserves and Applications are both capped at 100, and only reserved characters can have their apps submitted on the 1st. All other apps can be submitted after that!

asgardeventide is a panfandom mythological game set in Yggdrasil. The gods of this world have chosen you to restore the color and life of Asgard by helping the city flourish until the time when they have to face Ragnarok, the end of days. Characters will be sorted into different God Houses and given new abilities based on their personality. The day system is normally 2 IRL days = 1 in-game day except for some events. Activity is checked every month, and requires only two proofs of activity. There's also a mandatory HMD every other month, though it's comm-locked and unanon-enabled. percaligovideo is a panfandom game set in the world of Persona 4, modern day Inaba, Japan. Characters are brought there via train, with no knowledge of who or why they were sent there. It takes place after the good ending of the game, though no prior knowledge of Persona 4 is required. Characters are given the option of facing shadows, summoning a Persona of their own and entering the TV world where the shadows are rampant. They also have a chance to lead out the rural life of Inaba, creating social links and dealing with the everyday happenings of the place.
