Some More Heroes/Heroes' Paradise is a small, slow-to-medium paced role play based on world of No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, where characters must fill in as the ranked assassins of the UAA. It's been nearly two hundred years since the domes were built to protect the people of Verdana in their Great War against their sister planet, Antiqua. Not everyone was lucky enough to be chosen to live under the protective domes. Frequent bombing raids have reduced anything outside the domed cities to rubble. Billions of lives were lost outside the domes. Over the years the bombings became less frequent. To this day, no one from the outside is allowed within the domed cities for fear of spies and heretics. The area outside the great domed cities came to be known as the Outer Divide.

Over time, the survivors in the Outer Divide slowly began to band together and rebuild something of a society. The majority of Outer Inhabitants live within what they call the Old City. It's here that an ancient space ship crashed. From that ship new comers emerged that would change everything.

HOLLY HEIGHTS

Holly Heights is a panfandom roleplay focusing on the simpler things in life. Rainstorms, street fairs, family outings. The only danger to you here is the possibility of a neighbourhood tussle or a minor fender bender going to the old grind stone. School dances and parades are more common here than murders and thefts. Events and memes are regular, though, to keep things spicy, though there is a large emphasis on familiar structure, CR, and the ability to make your own fun. More information can be found at the game ATP comment! AC is simple and people are always willing to tag. The game is fairly new, with under two hundred characters, but it has a lot of reserves and apps coming in during cycles. Several canons are forming larger casts, such as Axis Powers Hetalia, and we're always looking to add more nations to the confusion and family.

adstringendum is a multi-fandom, fast/medium-paced, post-apocalyptic, comm-based game with an average of two, week-long events each month and about 180 players and characters who will love you to pieces. It's really probably one of the most friendly group of people I've personally played with. The pace can be a little fast, especially during events, but is typically about medium with more than enough love for back-tagging. Events varied from theme songs, rainbow sheep, everyone becoming mermaids, dinosaurs, death plagues and personality flips. Most recently, we've had the city change to emerald, making it as close to the city of Oz as possible!

route_29 is a journal based, medium paced, panfandom game set in the world of Pokemon Gold and Silver. Characters are given a Pokémon to start with, and a choice of being a trainer, breeder, or member of Team Rocket. Upon arrival, they’re shoved out into the world of Johto and get to start out on their own Pokémon Adventure.

Wanted: Anyone! Everyone! In particular, I’d love to see some of the main members of Cobra (Destro, Baroness, Storm Shadow, Zartan, and so on), but really anyone is welcome from any part of this franchise: the various cartoons, the movie, the Marvel comics, the IDW comics, or anything else that I might be forgetting.

We currently have characters from COWBOY BEBOP, TRIGUN, MARVEL, MAJIN TANTEI NOUGAMI NEURO and DISCWORLD; any one of them would love castmates.

Anemoi

It's not such a bad place, Memoria Arx Sirocco. Friendly people. Plenty of services. A robust welfare system that helps you get started right off the bat when you arrive. You know what would make the place more enjoyable, however? Remembering anything about yourself. At all.

You arrived with only your name, your personality, and the most basic of mortal skills. But the labs you arrived at pointed you to a solution: small gems called Anemoi scattered across the ruins and tombs of the land outside the city, waiting for enterprising individuals to bring them in to be tapped into. These gems hold the key to your past. The question is, how do you choose to pursue them -- if you do at all?

anemoi is a jamjar memory loss sandbox RP. If we haven't lost you with the first couple descriptors, then this may be the RP for you. It has a number of unique features, including:

- Complete sandbox play: Want to go on adventures to exciting locations? Simple slice of life experiences? Maybe you want to join the local Justice League and fight against crime. Or perhaps you want to run a wider plot. It's up to you.
- Power and memory regains: Though you will start out nonpowered and without your memory, each new anemoi and successful activity check gives you the opportunity to regain both powers and memories, allowing for a complete recovery within a minimum of 1 year playtime.
- A constantly evolving setting: Each new arrival from each new canon brings with them their world's entire bestiary, and may even bring a God or two. They may also use the regain system to bring in anything ranging from small, simple items to entire new game mechanics. And should the character stay for a full three months, said elements become PERMANENT additions to the setting.
- An innovative villain system: People who wish to play characters who are just Not Nice People may opt for the villain system, which allows for people to play evil characters whose natures may prevent the sort of socialization that allows for successful activity checks. Said individuals both may retain their memories and power and also have at hand a bunch of loyal lackies known as the Sirocco Operation Society. Currently, slots are filled by The Joker (Batman: The Animated Series) and Misery (Cave Story), but a third slot is open to those who wish to try for it.
- Now accepting OCs: Anemoi was previously a canon-only RP, but has very recently opened the game to any and all OCs interested in apping! We'd love to have you!
- A fairly leninent activity check: AC is every two weeks, but only requires ten REPLIES per character.
- AIM/IRC log and Dreamwidth log friendly: Run an adventure anyway you like. Anemoi counts both for activity.

Luministi is a panfandom sci-fi seasonal roleplay that will take place over a four-month period running from May 19th to about September 29th/October 13th. It is based around the mystery of the town and will involve a variety of situations for characters to overcome, events to work through, and puzzles to solve. A community-based game on Dreamwidth, Luministi runs in real-time and its events and outcome will be, in part, determined by the actions taken by the characters in it.

Throughout the run of Luministi, characters are trapped in the town and will be subjected to the whims of the many events that occur there. When those four months end, the ultimate outcome for the residents is up to you. Only you, together with the other residents, can find a way out of Luministi and back home. It's happened once before...

Characters experience their 'canon' as a cyberspace delusion, and must reconcile that with their life on the Ark.

It takes AUs and multiples, original characters, fandom OCs, etc. Flexible and plotty, metaplot apparently involving the origins and purpose of the Ark, whatever force it is making people experience their canons, and the government of the Capitol, which might be up to nefarious things? IDK it's got a bunch of other stuff too.

I'm going to app Katniss here, because she's completely awful for jamjars. I'm looking forward to having a built-in reason for her to actually care about things in the game, and to be actively working towards a goal. She's going to be a street urchin and a poacher on the outskirts of the Twin City, which is basically an urban jungle.

SO. If your character is ill-suited for jamjars, if you want a place where you can pretty much play around with the world and the premise as you like, and also a game that's brand new, this is the PLACE FOR YOU.

Nothing. It seems like forever, then suddenly, there is light. All around you stand the buildings of a futuristic paradise. It echoes emptily, yet water flows and electricity hums. By your side stands a strange doctor explaining already even though you've just woken up, and offering what people of the modern day will note is similar to a smart phone. Ringing quite impatiently, a voice waits on the other side: "You've arrived. Welcome to our game..."

The multi-verse stands just as surely as people imagine it. Its inhabitants are beings so beyond our mortal scope and ability to behold that they are simply known as gods. We give them a great many names, and imagine them in a great many ways. The only thing everyone can agree on, for the most part, is that they exist. They are our creators, our caretakers, and most prominently, our game masters. We exist for their amusement, and have, from time to time, played parts in a great many of their games. As it stands, three gods that preside over one particular floor of the multi-verse have invited the others for a game of amusement, laying the ultimate trap by invoking the other gods' pride when their game had been declined: "It's perfectly understandable if you think our creations can best yours."

So now you are a pawn in a game. The game is oft spoken of, but never mentioned in detail. Reminders lay everywhere, and for those few that think their gods have abandoned them and left them to their own fate, there are reminders they are everywhere as well. Plots to overthrow these three would-be game masters are in the works with traps having been carefully lain, and all that needs added is the final ingredient: pawns.

Luceti itself is a large, medium paced and journal based game with an ongoing plot involving the mysteries of the 'Luceti Project' and the Malnosso organization. We have monthly events, as well as a 'draft' every few months in which the characters are recruited to fight for the Malnosso against the third party in a roundabout method of defending the village.

Applications open every other month, and the AC is the same, falling on the month after applications close. The game has very simple activity requirements, and is very backtag friendly.
