Distant Skies is a free-flowing panfandom RPG loosely based on the worlds of His Dark Materials. Accompanied by their dæmon, one's soul in animal form, characters will discover that the world of Cittàgazze is just one of many universes available to explore.

From sci-fi and steampunk, fantasy and historical, to worlds both ordinary and surreal, the scale of the game is limited only by the characters that enter it. Each new character opens up a new world to explore. We accept fandom, original and AU characters, so why not take a look and see where your journey could take you?

Distant Skies is a free-flowing panfandom RPG loosely based on His Dark Materials.

✔ Dæmons! Dæmons are souls in animal form, and represent the character's personality. If your character has always wanted to talk to themselves, this is their chance.
✔ Over 100 worlds to explore!
✔ No power-nerfing (unless they're game-breaking), and new abilities can be learned if you talk to the right people.
✔ Overarching story is a mystery for now, but plots are currently player-run, and you can suggest yours at any time.
✔ AU and OC-friendly! AUs are a little rare right now, but OCs are abundant, and they're all very shiny.
