In the midst of the Reaper War, Aria T’Loak has reclaimed her throne at the top of Omega’s power struggle. But no sooner had Cerberus gone that a much worse fate befell the station -- the Omega Relay is irreparably damaged, cutting off the entire nebula from the rest of the galaxy. No one knows why, or what caused the damage in the first place, but the song remains the same. The station is now in complete seclusion.

And in the ensuing chaos, mysterious automated ships bound for Omega emerge from the Omega-4 Relay, each bearing a crew that appears to be from entirely different universes. None of them know how they’ve arrived, but one thing’s for certain: it’s a one-way trip.

Stuck on Omega with nowhere to go but up, each one of them will have to find their own way to survive. They can do as they please, just so long as they remember Omega’s one rule:

Ω Outsiders is a sci-fi panfandom game with an overarching plot set on Mass Effect’s Omega station following the events of ME3’s Omega DLC. Characters must choose what they plan to do with their stay - whether it be to join up with a group of mercs, start up a shop selling stolen goods, or enter the tangled world of information brokerage. The point is, make yourself useful, or Aria just might decide that she won't be so gracious to newcomers in the future. And those who do prove their worth just might find themselves embroiled in a plot that could change the station forever.

Holloway's Keep is a community-based panfandom horror game with elements of crack humour. It is largely set within a medieval castle belonging to one Lord Deior, but as Deior is set upon reshaping the universe, the setting is apt to expand with time.

The game is plot driven and character decisions will effect outcomes both in the broad-scale sense of plot direction and in the smaller-scale sense of how quickly secrets or quirks of the setting are discovered. Very little is exactly as it seems to be here, and there is the possibility that a character's exploration or actions may unwittingly trigger large scale events or have far-reaching consequences.

It was inspired by the works of Mark Z. Danielewski and Garth Nix.

What is

the_devils_see, you ask? Why, it's this lovely little horror game set in the Devil's Sea, or the Pacific Bermuda Triangle. Characters are brought to a remote, practically deserted island haunted by monsters (and the occasional ghostly residents). The village they live in keeps most of these monsters away, but occasionally one or two may sneak in an cause trouble. Technology is old and decrepit except for the computers they occasionally start up to communicate, and for most things, characters will have to scavenge for them.

There's a recent film-showing hinting what is up with the island's past to the residents, however, no one knows how to get out yet. There are also events every month to keep your characters on your toes, (recent examples like red strings of fate trying to choke you to death or the ghosts of dead people you know following you) and players are really open to plotting. Lots of plotting.

Apps are always open, so no worries about rushing for a deadline. The playerbase is friendly and tight-knit, and we're always happy to see a new face. We're also open to lots of backtagging and backdating, and despite it's small size, the game is pretty active. It's slow-paced (1-2 posts a week, more heavy on the threading), easy on the AC (15 comments of either one post or several comments) and as mentioned earlier, players are really open to plotting.

I personally would guarantee I'd be open to most anything, and I would love to see Billy's friends around since he's been lonely. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here and I'll do my best to help.

Smiling women are here to greet you, cheerfully handing you a journal and chirping encouragements to write to those you know. Kiseki is a journal-based, slice-of-life jamjar game, with a small and friendly playerbase! We have 7 players and 31 characters, currently, and always hoping for more. The setting is light-hearted with occasional underlying creepiness (think Outo Country in Tsubasa), and we have player-run plots and game-wide events regularly.

We are a CLAMP-only game, great for minor, underappreciated CLAMP series and characters as well as the popular ones!

Reserves are always open and last for a week. The application itself is simple (no third person!). Game pace can be fast for a small game (during events, usually) but overall is slow to medium-paced. Comments are usually comment-spam, everyone is very backtag friendly, and our bi-monthly AC is low-pressure.

Additionally, we are on Insanejournal, which means 100 free icons! (I’m happy to make icon sets for anyone interested, or to provide HQ scans and raws.)

The Game:

tractionbox is an alternate universe dressing room RP set in a modified version of the world of Mortal Engines. We're still putting the finishing touches on, but we'll be open within the week.

The Story (briefly):

This we know: The ancients destroyed themselves in the 60 Minutes War. Their superweapons left the American Empire and Greater China uninhabitable wastelands. The earth rumbled and bled for eons afterwards. Yet from this destruction the Traction Cities emerged.

London was the first city to be made mobile. Soon the rest would follow suit until almost all the world's cities moved on tracks and wheels, floated on rafts and gasbags or skated across the ice on giant skis.

Yet fuel was not infinite. To survive, the cities turned to cannibalism. Big cities ate smaller cities, smaller cities ate towns, towns ate villages and everyone ate barbaric 'static' settlements. The eaten would be stripped down for fuel and raw materials, sifted through for valuables, their population enslaved or assimilated.

It is the year 13,000 After Quirke. The age of Municipal Darwinism is at its height. Great Urbivores devour each other across the hunting grounds of Europe, oblivious to the threats of the Green Storm and Anti-Traction League. Who will you be in this Steampunk Dystopia? Mayor of a hunting city? A worker shoveling coal in its engines? A Green Storm fanatic? A Lost Boy thief? An Airship Trader plying the Skylanes?

Cape Kore

Premise: Your character wakes up in a small, strange little town on a cape. There are empty docks, a lighthouse and only one road out. Some of the homes are lived in, others are abandoned. There is a communicator attached to your character's wrist. The communicators are the only programmable technology your character will find. Even the clocks are all analog. Everything in the town is old or low-tech. Kitchen appliances and washers have turn-dials, the televisions could easily be from the 80s and there isn't anything even remotely like a computer in sight.

There are cameras everywhere and no clue as to who is watching or how they are being constantly repaired. No one is even sure why they are here or where more food will come from when the current food is gone.

Cape Kore is a small, slow-paced game (3:1 OOC:IC ratio) with an easy AC. There is an emphasis on survival with both horror and mystery elements. The game has a slow-moving plot that can and will be affected by the action or inaction of the characters, as well as more isolated mod-run and player-run plots and room for slice-of-life aspects.

Due to the concept and nature of the game, all characters and players must be at least 18. Aging up of under-aged characters will be approved on a case-by-case basis.

We would love to see any currently-not-taken characters in addition to the specific ones that players have requested below. (Though we do ask players to wait 3 weeks after a drop before picking up that character.)

Do you like steampunk settings? Do you like some horror elements to a game that's more slice-of-life? Do you like community-based games that are currently on the slower edge of medium-paced, and are probably medium-ish in size? Do you play or are you looking to play someone from Thedas?

The year is 2005, the place is Fuyuki City, and a certain young girl has just accidentally destroyed the fabric of reality.

The Holy Grail of Fuyuki City has been changed, and a War with an entirely different set of rules has begun. The Grail has begun to summon people from times and places unheard of indiscriminately. somarium is a medium-paced community-based RP centered around dreams. Activity checks take place once a month, the requirements can be found here. Applications are open from the 1st to the 10th this month. In other words, right now! Characters are sent to the city of Somarium in the land of Hypnosia, where they're free to do as they wish, with the added inconvenience of their dreams being broadcast to anyone and everyone over the Dreamberry, the communication tool of choice. However, a dream world like Hypnosia isn't always all fun and games. Nightmares are dreams, too.

Hiya! I play the AU version of Riku at

mallowhallow, and I'm here today in search of more of those Key-slinging heroes, dudes in black coats, Disney pals, and others from the KH 'verse.

So, what is Mallow? It's a panfandom game with a simple app and easy AC designed to be a relaxed RP experience. Characters arrive and are greeted by the resident royalty before being sorted into one of the many districts, from a futuristic city to a place rife with pillows. Though the game's just opened, it's been a real blast. :)

Here's the deal: Your hometown/planet/previous haunted mental institution? Gone. Kaput. De-freaking-stroyed. The details are sketchy, and the reasoning is completely out the window, but what you do know, is that you don't have anywhere to return. No place to call home anymore.

You're now a refugee on the S.S. Thor, a spacestation floating around the galaxy with the sole mission to rescue vagrants like you. You've been given three things: a (rather stylish) towel, an oddly designed book (which, on the back has the words DON'T PANIC inscribed in large friendly letters) and coordinates to some sort of cabin. You have to work for us for a little while, and build up a name for yourself. But before all that, sit down. Have a drink. Take in your surroundings. Get to know everyone else. Oh, and don't worry.

Everyone here? We're mostly harmless.

gargleblasted is a community based, sandbox game. It's based on "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (or H2G2 for short), but you don't need to know anything about the canon to join! You're welcome to play out pretty much whatever you want, from drama to crack, and let's not forget to punch an alien or two. Every month, the characters can pick a new job, visit the new planet and ~~suffer~~ enjoy the effects of the Improbability Drive (what common people know as "events"). Player plots? We live for them!

►Activity is 25 comments per month, or an open post/log plus a thread. Don't be scared by the size: the pace is a slow/medium, and we've got great backtaggers! ~~otherwise I would've already died sob~~

►The setting is panfandom! We accept everything under the sun. Animated, live-action, books, videogames, webcomics, minor charas from one episode, OCs (fandom or not), canon AUs and previous game memories. Powers are kept 100%, and characters can bring stuff with them too. Guns, pets, a giant robot? Sure thing!

►Reserves are always open and applications are processed every two weeks, so no need to rush things. We aren't going anywhere!

gargleblasted, a somewhat silly RP (it's based on Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, after all) set aboard a SPACESHIP! In SPACE! Doesn't that sound exciting!? It should! Because it is!

We've currently got an amazing active cast, with a bodacious Bubblegum, a magnificent Marceline, a funtastic Finn, and a flametastic Flame Princess all chillin' out aboard the spaceship, having space adventures. Does this cast sound like it interests you? (Say yes.) Then you should check this game out right the heck now!

Who are we looking for? Well, our main cast will be complete with a Jake the Dog and Ice King! We'd also love to see those wacky genderbents from Fionna and Cake, namely Fionna the Human, Cake the Cat, Prince Gumball, and Marshall Lee. OF COURSE, anybody and everybody is awesome and would round off our cast nicely. So come one and all!

For game info, it's a slow-to-medium paced game with a greater focus on tags than posts. It's basically a giant spaceship-slash-city that picks up refugees when their worlds are destroyed (Ooo was turned into a sandwich by an ill-worded wish, btw.) Every month or so the ship visits different out-of-this-world worlds and you can explore and junk.

We have monthly events, as well as a 'draft' every few months in which the characters are recruited to fight for the Malnosso against the third party in a roundabout method of defending the village, as well as missions.

Applications open every other month, and the AC is the same, falling on the month after applications close. The game has very simple activity requirements, and is very backtag friendly.

Characters are brought to a mysterious tower and told their worlds have been destroyed, leaving it to them to find out the truth about their worlds and a possible means of escape. Nothing. It seems like forever, then suddenly, there is light. All around you stand the buildings of a futuristic paradise. It echoes emptily, yet water flows and electricity hums. By your side stands a strange doctor explaining already even though you've just woken up, and offering what people of the modern day will note is similar to a smart phone. Ringing quite impatiently, a voice waits on the other side: "You've arrived. Welcome to our game..."

The multi-verse stands just as surely as people imagine it. Its inhabitants are beings so beyond our mortal scope and ability to behold that they are simply known as gods. We give them a great many names, and imagine them in a great many ways. The only thing everyone can agree on, for the most part, is that they exist. They are our creators, our caretakers, and most prominently, our game masters. We exist for their amusement, and have, from time to time, played parts in a great many of their games. As it stands, three gods that preside over one particular floor of the multi-verse have invited the others for a game of amusement, laying the ultimate trap by invoking the other gods' pride when their game had been declined: "It's perfectly understandable if you think our creations can best yours."

So now you are a pawn in a game. The game is oft spoken of, but never mentioned in detail. Reminders lay everywhere, and for those few that think their gods have abandoned them and left them to their own fate, there are reminders they are everywhere as well. Plots to overthrow these three would-be game masters are in the works with traps having been carefully lain, and all that needs added is the final ingredient: pawns.
