FOURTH WALL EVENT! March 3rd through the 16th, characters may visit the world of Witches Reign! As an added bonus, characters who apply to the game may use threads from the event for samples, and if accepted will retain their memories of the event. Pre-built CR just for you!

When Balamb Garden opened its doors to the sudden influx of misplaced individuals forced into the world as a result of Time Compression, it did so out of charity and kindness. Headmaster Cid felt sympathy for these estranged folk, trapped far from their proper homes, on a world where their strange powers were met with hostility and fear.

And so these foreigners trained, and continue to train, as the mercenary elites know as SeeDs. And for some years now, time has marched resolutely on, and offworlders have become more and more integrated as cadets, SeeDs, Instructors, and staff at the Garden.

But no good deed goes unpunished. With its reputation damaged by its openness and its finances bled nearly dry, Balamb has undergone drastic and alarming changes. A new Commander, Erlea Zabala, has gained power as a result of backroom maneuvering, and her decree to Garden is simple: Time to repay us with work and effort. Go out into an unwelcoming world and earn your keep.

Witches Reign is a panfandom, community-based, OC-friendly RP that takes place in the unnamed world of Final Fantasy VIII, twenty-two years after the events of the game. One part school setting, one part political/war drama and one part slice-of-life, we have something for everyone:

• Apply as a cadet, SeeD, or Instructor -- or even staff, if your character has something to offer besides mercenary potential!
  
• Go on missions for in-character rewards -- or special missions run by the mod team, to earn a better Rank!
