Would you possibly consider luceti for Sophie? It's a large but slow-to-medium paced jamjar journal-style game, and everyone is very backtag friendly. Everyone gets wings and there's a deep, overarching plotline involved in the game.

The AC's 30 comments contained in 2 to 3 threads or a post within a thirty day period, which should definitely fit your request for being able to use multiple threads for AC! We've got Asbel, Richard, Pascal, and Malik there, but who we don't have is you!

Apps won't be opening until July 1st (with reserves opening two weeks beforehand), so you have a lot of time to mull it over.

I actually wanted to send Sophie there before but never got around to it, but yes! I will definitely consider apping Sophie. That should give me enough time to canon review and fix up an app.

A beautiful Mami would be nice to see at hollyheights! I have found the place to be pretty good with backtags and you can definitely combine threads to make AC. It's a slice of life game and there is an event every month.

But if not Mami, then why not Sophie. There are two characters from Graces there already! But really app anyone!

I've got Homura at both thoughtformed and rubycity_rp if you wanted to expand the Madoka cats at either of those places! They both meet your listed preferences. TF has a Kyuubey, & Ruby City has Madokami, so there's a smallish cast either location!

Hellgate is set in modern-day New York City, but with supernatural creatures from myth and legend world-wide thrown in. It's mostly action-based, but there's plenty of opportunity for slice-of-life or other plot. Very friendly mod-team. Apps and reserves are open, gameplay starts July 1st.

Hello! You might be interested in dyspros. It's a JRPG-inspired comm-based RP and we'd love it if you brought Mami! We have Madoka and Kyouko so far. AC is 20 comments across 3 separate posts per month, but 10 comments across 2 posts per month for your first month.

Dyspros has a very broad setting you are free to play with, with castle levels that are vastly different from another as characters progress - think of it like a dungeon crawler game! The game just opened a few weeks ago, but we have a lot in store for the players regarding the game's universe and overarching plot.
