Unfortunately I can't read that Rogue link, as the website seems to be down "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable". Although being around for that long is a bit scary and the fact that Rogue would have all that extra history I assume I would need to remember outside of canon...?

There is some history, yes, but the Wiki does make life a lot easier - once the page loads, you'll see how much history is there. And the beauty of Rogue is her powers make her a potential clean slate, depending on how you want to play it.
