Oh... oh my. I have a game I'm playing Haruka Tenoh in that fits all your requirements :: chinhands :: I would die for a Michiru there to play her with.

It's called outer_divide and it's plot-heavy, wide-open world, science fiction survival with themes of politics, economics, time travel, world-destroying and -saving, and some really awesome people. This journal is in it too, and has the mod journal friended, if you wanna check out things more closely :D

Hee, yeah, I didn't even realize he was the Fifth Doctor when I picked him for my PB... and then wound up in a game with him with the Fifth Doctor >.> It was fun XD
