Hellgate is set in modern-day New York City, but with supernatural creatures from myth and legend world-wide thrown in. It's mostly action-based, but there's plenty of opportunity for slice-of-life or other plot. Very friendly mod-team. Apps and reserves are open, gameplay starts July 1st.

Thanks but no thanks. No offense, but this game looks like it will get slice of life pretty darn quickly (as I can't really find any plot besides 'fight monsters'-though correct me if I'm wrong)

A lot of the plot for the game is written down but not posted yet, because depending on player input and actions in-game, the plot may take several different paths.

The Cal Leandros cast will be starting the game in June to flesh out the plot a little better before we open it up to the public. You can certainly watch the comm to see if you like it or not.
