And please, tl:dr away! I've yet to see any of season 2 -- I am dependant on DVD imports and was still working my way through the latter half of season 1 when my external DVD drive took a dive off my cupboard onto the floor and ... yeah, it's in need of professional attention. I've read as many spoilers as I could find and scoured youtube for clips, so I'm pretty sure I've got a good idea of where SB's development goes, but I generally prefer beginnings anyway.
It sounds as though, just like M'gann, you're up for almost anything! Which is cool, but makes finding a starting point a little bit tricky. Since I've played SB in a non-canon setting so far, I think I'd prefer something canon-related -- and since you're also interested in exploring M'gann's feelings of out-of-placeness/relationship with Earth/human culture, how about a scenario where the rest of the team are on a reconaissance mission that relies on blending in, and M'gann, SB (and maybe Aqualad too?) have been left behind because they'd stick out and they're not thrilled about this?

Also, canon setting stuff is great, and I'm always eager for more of it. That scenario can be approached a lot of different ways, too. Like I can see M'gann going "Well hey, let's go learn about Earth and how to fit in on our own!" and then make plans for the beach/mall/rollerskating rink/restaurant/movies (and be shocked and a little disappointed that people don't go to drive-ins anymore) etc. You can even add some action onto that and have them stumble into a crime or mission of their own that they need to resolve!
What sort of time frame would you prefer for this? Again, I'm pretty adaptable and can go with just about anything season 1. I could see this working especially well with anything episode 9 (Bereft) or prior, myself.

Yeah, we've got a lot of potential here! I am up for ... any and all of those possibilities, whoops. Is there anything you're particularly interested in?
About episode 9 sounds good to me. Taking them from before they're enrolled in high school makes the most sense, but episode 9 means they're used to each other and the team.

And any antagonist complications...Well, anything from street level thugs to possibly some hired help from Intergang (they sadly didn't get to do a whole lot in Season 1) sounds good!

Drive in theater + altercation + movie sounds like a good plan to me! I'm assuming we'd play this in the journal of whoever makes the starting post? I don't mind setting up, but it's going to take me a day or two -- got a busy few days, but things should be quiet by my Sunday.

This all sounds like an excellent idea, too! Also, I've got a musebox right over this way that I could start a thread on, if you'd like!
