I know for a fact that entranceway would love to have you. We have a tiny Pirates of the Caribbean cast (and by tiny, I mean Hector Barbossa here, Jack Sparrow, and possibly Joshamee Gibbs apping) that really need pirates from other canons to keep these two (possibly three) from being complete morons. I know it's a big task but. Also, Hook is even vaguely mentioned in their canon as a legit pirate in one of the books. Pirate shenanigans could definitely be a thing.

Anyway, so I don't breathe too heavily over your post here, our current ad has all of the game's info, and I can possibly/maybe answer questions, but if not, I can poke a mod your way. I know one is floating around here somewhere.

nexus seems to fit most of your requirements, as an adult game that is slow paced (we opened this month so still quite small). All of the smut is optional and it gets you power regains and items rather than any fuck-or-die/lose-memories aspects.

Pssst, I would love to see Kazama at havenrpg. Aside from me, we've also got Chizuru, Saitou, Hijikata, Heisuke, Ibuki and Kaoru.

I've always found the pacing medium and the backtagging has never failed me and my relative-slowness before — AC's pretty easy (three threads totalling 30 comments or a post/log+5 comments), and he doesn't lose his powers, for maximum Shinsengumi-misery making! Also known as we would love to have him because we love misery, obviously...

maybe take a look at thoughtformed? We're a laidback, super cool slice of life game with an overarching intrigue plot and lots of monthly plots to keep everyone occupied. We're cool with backtagging because we get everyone has lives. We're medium paced. I dooon't have anything for your AUs since we don't allow those but Nepeta being around would be awesome.
