Hey, you should check out apprenticewanted! It hits a fair few of your preferences. It's a sex optional game set in the Oglaf webcomic-verse. It's one of those settings that give you plenty to do so while it's slice of life, there's adventuring and stuff to be had for the characters who are inclined to do that.

It's pretty small and slow as well as very backtag friendly. As far as powers go, initially you are depowered but if you participate in events, you can get regains. They can be either items from home or powers. Those who sign Mistress's contract are able to even gain Oglaf magic, so characters with no powers will gain some too. Events are also great for encouraging tagging around and I've found it really easy to get a lot of diverse CR because of it.

So if any of this interests you, then definitely check it out, we'd love to have you.

I like this list a lot, I'm not going to lie.

Can I recommend afterliving? It fits your preferences and although it is set in a school-based afterlife purgatory it is more slice-of-life - er, well, afterlife, though there is an overarching plot!

We're slow to medium and backtagging is huge on our end. Characters can keep their powers though they won't have them for two whole months, unfortunately, but they'll definitely get it back! Possessions can't be kept but can be regained over time, and characters can rebuild things once they learn how to.

Our AC is also light, being 20 comments bimonthly, so why don't you take a look?

nexus might interest you. It is a sex-oriented game but it is all consensual and incentivised, we provide non-smutty options in the events as well.

Powers are nerfed to 10% at the beginning but via gameplay functions it can be gained back to 100%.

We do have a metaplot but it is in the background at the moment and ticks along as gameplay evolves.

We also backtag a lot due to differing timezones so that would be no problem at all. We're slow to medium paced during events and the game is easy to keep up with.

I have to put forth rekindleme - Because...Well. Because Bubblegum is awesome. 8U (We also have a halfway decent Pokemon cast, though.) It's a pretty slice of life game, where the point is physical contact. It can be a hug, a handshake, whatever; if you don't make contact, you'll get sick and die. :(

We also very welcome of backtagging - slow threads are wonderful, and AC is easy. (And my Charlie Bradbury just reinvented the internet, so Bubblegum could totally get up in that. B) )
