I think tartarusnet might be a good match for what you're looking for. I'd personally love to see Morrigan especially there, but your Final Fantasy gals would be interesting, too!

The game has a horror premise in which characters get locked in the Underworld, branded with their sins/crimes and have to put up with the various punishments inflicted upon them, with small to large events offering a variety of things to do and participate in. Some plots/events are straightforward, and some depend heavily on player choices. The game is relatively small and backtag friendly, but especially around events you'll find there is plenty to do. AC is easily met and straight forward, allowing you to pass with 10 comments spread over two pieces of activity (post, thread or log). The playerbase is definitely welcoming and fun to play with.
