I want to give a driveby love shout-out for a. TOS Star Trek <3 but also, and this is what made me do a double take while scrolling around: b. Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, oh my god I loved that show. ;u;

... But, er, is a game ad comm and not a love meme, though, so I'll uh proceed with a game pitch since you're looking for somewhere to play! ouo;

I play at [community profile] entranceway, which is a slow-to-medium paced game that's also backtag friendly! In it, your characters are pulled into Wonderland, which consists of a huge and sometimes architecturally confusing Mansion and it's lovely grounds!

And also, incidentally, a replica mansion behind the many mirrors decorating the place, where there's a version of your character who's identical in appearance yet different in personality. How different is up to the player - some go fully-evil version, and some people just invert some lesser traits (a character who's clear has a cryptic mirror, a character who's stoic and quiet has a chatty and emotional mirror, etc).

Having a Mirror isn't mandatory, though! But it can be fun sometimes

There are events a few times a month, which are player submitted! They can range from something subtle, like a loss of a sense or a tweak to their personality, to something that temporarily changes the setting! The only memory-loss mechanic of the game is tied to this - that is, characters from whatever series the event was based on lose one word. Or, sometimes two or three, but never more than that.

The game ad is over here and has a few more game resources (and is a little smoother) than this pitch, if you want to read further. :)
