Have you looked at exitvoid for Tinkerbell or Ruby? We're a medium-speed (2:1 day ratio) horror game set in the 1920s, backtag friendly - and super great with crosscanon CR, and we have a massive OUAT cast, and I can guarantee that we'd love to have either of them!

you should think about teleios. it's a SUPER friendly game (with a wonderful ouat cast) and it's great about heaping you with tons of cr, in-cast and cross-canon, because it's plot-based, which means characters routinely work together both on missions for agents (which earn you favors, which can gain back powers or earn item/location drops), as well as just sharing information about the metaplot within the city.

the metaplot involves gods from all pantheons bringing characters together in the world of teleios and assigning them a debt (based on their deeds in canon) to work off in order to earn their way to "utopia." it's become apparent that this isn't the first time teleios has been built from the ground up, and characters just recently returned to the city after being sent away to other worlds while loki brought war in. loki's been kicked out and things are returning to business as usual (slice of life-y with interspersed plot events).

the activity check is 5+ comments in a single thread from your character. while it's community-based, there is no network, just a p2p communication bracelet that can only reach small groups max (a phone, essentially). the majority of interactions are in-person via actionspam or prose comments. as previously mentioned, doing missions for agents (gods) gets you "favors" which can be exchanged for powers (canon or otherwise) as well as items and locations from home being incorporated into the setting.

we're very backtag friendly, and while there's downtime between events, you really get what you look for in terms of metaplot involvement - the mod is always happy to offer something to people who come asking, either for involvement in the metaplot, or arranging a mission to nudge their character in a certain development path.

we've also got sizeable buffy and tvd casts that you might consider bringing fred/illyria or john gilbert to c:

another game i'm in might also interest you! ataraxion is more sci-fi whereas teleios is fantasy; it takes place aboard a spaceship that's full of psychological horror components. we're great about backtagging, but it's harder to form cross-canon cr (in my experience - others have had different experiences! i know it'd be easy with ruby, since there are tons of werewolves who've had prior cr with other rubys). like teleios, it has a metaplot surrounding its setting that is steadily revealed through events involving interactive npcs.

Yeah, honestly, though I've looked at both those games before... The apps intimidate me so much. It's mostly me just buckling down and writing the thing, so I might not be able to get in this month if I tried either of them :/

ah, yeah, i understand. ax has a pretty tough app process. teleios' apps are comparatively less demanding than ax's, but the debt can tangle people up frequently. so if there's anything i can do to assist you with them, if you do decide you'd like to app, just let me know c: because we'd love to have you!

I'm actually in a sex game already, so that wouldn't necessarily be a problem. What would you say the pace is?

The pace is slow at the moment, it picks up a little during events. We're a small game and still fairly new (opened at the beginning of December) but it has proved back-tag friendly.

The metaplot has just started to unfold a little, so it is quite fun at the moment as the characters are trying to figure out just what is going on and why.

We'd love to have you over at thoughtformed! You've got a really cool mix of characters that would be fun to play with in our setting. We're a leisurely paced not strictly slice-of-life game with super easy AC and some really great plots twice a month and amazingly talented rpers! It'd be awesome to have you join in.

We don't have a lot in the way of castmates besides a smallish marauder group for Hermione to play with, a Peter Pan that would adore seeing a Tinkerbell or Ruby around, and a Vivi that could use even the slightest bit more of Final Fantasy if Terra popped in. Everyone else would be AMAZING to have as well and I'd love to see some casts start/people from for Tales or Heroes or Dollhouse.

Neville keeps wishing he had Hermione around to explain the finer points of wizarding history to people at outer_divide. And I'm sure she would love to meet Helga Hufflepuff because who wouldn't! It's a small, comm based gamet hat lives on backtags. Cross canon CR is no trouble at all. There's a whole world available to explore and players are able to directly impact the plot.

Also, dinosaurs.

I'm sure entranceway would love to have a Ruby. We've got a budding OUAT cast who are all very lovely! Currently the test drive is up as well, which means if you're interested in reception, you could test it there.

It's a community based multi genre game that takes place in the world of Wonderland. It's very backtag and Cross Canon CR friendly. It's generally medium paced and there are plenty of player plots that range from cute ones to zombies to aggressive mistletoe.

We also have quite a few werewolves most from Teen Wolf, but also Josh from Being Human. Which might be fun CR.

Elize (and Teepo too!) would be absolutely loved at havenrpg. We've got a small Xillia cast (Milla, Alvin, Leia and Presa), and she'd be welcome! It's horror and plot heavy, so it can get fast at times, though a lot of it is contained in mingle logs to make things easier.

But all the mingles and whatnot do make the game very cross-canon CR friendly, and my experiences with backtagging have always been excellent since I joined. I could gladly tell you more if you're interested... and if not, I wish you the best in finding somewhere that suits you!

I'm Topher (also Tenth Doctor, Lucy Saxon, and Seth from Misfits) over at bigapplesauce, which is slow/medium paced and sized, backtag friend, and CR friendly. Set in modern-day NYC, people fall through a rift (that may or may not change them or give them powers - Topher has the power of dream-manipulation now), and have to deal. There's different factions that may be joined, opportunities for characters changing the setting, or one may choose to just settle.

We've kind of very bad at advertising, the main reason we're still going is cause we have dedicated, awesome people. Although, if Claire meets up with Topher at this point, I'm not even sure how it would go -- he's kind of in the middle of a plot where he's being sort of manipulated by a faction leader, which means general socialising levels are very low. But he also kind of has no friends left -- they keep dying, or disappearing, or trying to murder him, or he has to leave them to protect them. It's good fun!

I'm at tushanshu and would love another Heroes player. It meets all the preferences listed and AC is pretty easy. They're also going to start "mini-missions" soon so characters can do stuff like kick ass, etc.

I'm gonna echo uncurse and say that ataraxion might be a good fit, and I selfishly have to say that we would love a John Gilbert. We have a pretty big TVD cast -- Elena (that's me, hello!), Jenna, Ric, Damon, Stefan, Caroline, Tyler, Katherine, and Elijah, with Klaus, Rebekah, and Lexi reserves, and it fits all your preferences. There's an OC with Isobel's face, which has already caused a little bit of fun, and could only be better with John around. I've been getting good amounts of cross-canon CR with my two others in the game, though with Elena I've been mostly just been focusing on my canon stuff right now. I understand the app looks scary, but I personally have had no problems getting in! You just have to know your character, that's all. I understand if it's too much, but I just had to try. :)
