I actually have need of two of your characters at high_seas, for very different reasons. Our Tales of the Abyss cast would love a Mieu; we've got the entire main party except Natalia, plus Asch, and an Ion on reserve. Characters have been brought to this world to search across the seas for shards of a legendary ruby, and band together on pirate ships to travel. The pace isn't too bad, and you have access to a network comm over magical journals each character possesses, plus a log comm for on-ship stuff.

Also on the subject of High Seas, I have a Fire Emblem: Awakening cast of Henry, Gaius, and Maribelle that could go for some more folks from home; Yarne happens to fit the bill there.

I actually know a few people in this game, so I will check it out! What's the AC like?

AC is one post plus two more options (another post, one ten-comment thread, two five-comment threads) every two months; the activity post is here if you'd rather peruse it yourself. I honestly have never had trouble making the AC; one post plus four threads of five comments in two months isn't terrible at all. It helps that you've got a ship of people near to hand pretty much at all times.

I'm going to suggest afterliving, if that's okay! It fits all your preferences because we're backtag-friendly, a slow to medium-paced game and memory loss is completely optional! The game mostly leans towards network/action spam posts so you're all good. The game itself is set in a school-based afterlife where characters are allowed to do whatever they want (though there might be consequences at times) or find out the truth about it; it's all up to them.

Anyway, have you thought of checking out dramadramaduck? It fits all of your preferences. It also lets you stay in your home world so that you can go through canon, if you want. A lot of times, certain things even happen to derail it, if you're after that.
