Looking tentatively for a place to put one ridiculously manpain laden 00, James Bond. From the end of Skyfall, specifically. If it matters.

• plot is welcome, especially one that can be impacted by characters.
• castmates not a deal breaker one way or the other. I'd enjoy having them but they aren't necessary.
• backtag friendly is a must. I'm on the slower side, myself. I boomerang when I have time, but can also go 2/3 days without tagging at all once in a while.
• dreamwidth only.
• games with a focus on prose would be a nice change of pace?
• reasonable AC, and an absolute maximum of about 7 posts a day between network and logs (busier during events is fine). Alternately, a single post every 2/3 days isn't going to work out for me.

Other than that I'm fairly flexible and open to suggestion! Lay it on me, atp.

...I'm not going to lie, I really want to see this over at savetheearth. It's an AU game; characters are reincarnated into new lives, and regain their memories, powers, and gadgets possessions over time. The plot revolves around an alien plot against the Earth, which the characters (and we) are learning about over time; it's extremely player-centric. The general rule on plot posts isn't "what can I do"; it's "what happens if I do this?" And I've really enjoyed how things have worked out over the six months or so I've been in the game. It's a little on the fast side, maybe three to five posts a day, but it's also extremely backtag friendly; the AC accepts threads started in previous months, and it's just four threads a month with different characters.

I admit, I'd kind of love to see Bond floating around, especially as a regular Joe (or as regular as you want; there are certainly options with how you create a reincarnate) slowly turning into the iconic secret agent. If you've got questions, hit me; otherwise, good luck on your search!

Ahem. Let me just ready my spiel...

The Gospels is a brand spanking new game that relies on espionage, spy vs. spy, double-crossing (and triple crossing!) and other related things. It's a fully AU, Assassin's Creed-based game set in near future Vancouver/Seattle that is designed to allow player actions to have significant impact on the plot. Might be worth a look?

It's not open yet (we're planning on April 5th), but I think I have something you might find interesting!

synodiporia has the characters sent bouncing between a host of alternate realities, so there isn't really one fixed setting. In every reality, there's a mission or a problem that they have to figure out and solve, so there's a lot to do. The pace, admittedly, is hard to predict because it isn't open yet, but your ad caught my eye because you're looking for prose, and while there aren't hard formatting requirements in the rules either way, pretty much the entire first test drive was prose, and the second looks to be shaping up the same way.

The ad is here if you'd like to look it over! No cast to offer but I have to say I think dimension-hopping James Bond would be kind of amazing.

bigapplesauce fits your reqs except for castmates. Very backtag friendly and easy AC, prose focused, and we greatly encourage player-driven plots. And we have regular open dream parties for test-drives.

Apps aren't open to Tributes at the moment, but I'd love to encourage you to keep thegames in mind! It's a mid-to-mid-fast game based on The Hunger Games, with quite a heavy prose focus. Extremely backtag friendly, and there's always going to be people around willing to boomerang. c:
