170 years after his death, the cult of Desmond Miles is going strong...or dying out or never existed, depending on who you ask. The Gospels say he died to save humanity. They say he was a savior, a messiah, a holy man who went up in flames so the Earth wouldn't. The Gospels say he died to stop a ghost from coming to life again. That he lived the lives of his ancestors.

They say a lot of things, very few of which are likely to be true. This is exactly what the Templar Order wants you to think.

See, Desmond did sacrifice himself to stop the world from burning, but he let the ghost out in the process. She wants control. Order. The same things the Templars want. She's exactly the ally the Templars need to bring about their New World Order. There's just one problem; she needs a body and the one bloodline that could give her what she wants died with Desmond.

Lucky for her, Abstergo specializes in genetic research. Lucky for Abstergo, they still have plenty of samples in storage from Sample 17. Lucky for the Assassins, Abstergo doesn't yet have their hands on the one Piece of Eden needed to allow Juno to take control of a body. Lucky for you, neither side knows exactly where it is. How things end is up to you. Find the Pieces of Eden. Stop Juno or help her. Freedom or order. Which side will you choose?
