So, I'm pretty sure everyone who has watched Community ever is on the same page as me in that one day they were like "hey. i bet it would be so cool to pick up this character for DWRP and to inevitably toss them into a game with a futuristic space-horror genre".

Luckily, there is no need to pine for such space horror from afar any longer. Come and join at ataraxion! Ataraxion is a slow-to-medium paced game with a compelling modplot and a buttload of world info to peruse. Activity Check asks for a measly one network or log post, one log thread with five comments of yours, or one network thread with ten comments of yours per month.

The theme, of course, is generally horror: among the stars, with a bit of room for your basic CR-building downtime between notable events. New characters are brought in once a month during "jumps", which is a fancy word for "you just woke up in a pod of blue goop, nothing makes sense, and you will possibly throw up: congratulations on your kidnapping". They get a fancy new serial number tattoo and their own locker with some possessions from home. From there, it's just a matter of... dealing with what dreams may come while trying to keep their sanity, dignity, and ability to function intact. And, you know, getting back into the stasis pods once a month so that the next jump won't turn them into jelly. Death is permanent, so that's kind of a thing to look out for.

WANT: Anybody, to cover things both true and obligatory. Abed would be glad to see study group members especially, because guys please guys it's space and he's surrounded by fictional characters. But man, if you wanna bring in Dean Pelton or Chang or Starburns or anybody at all, that's a great decision, plan to do it immediately without any further consideration whatsoever.

Reserves are open and apps will be open on March 1st. They require a written-out history section, which I know is kind of a pain in the butt to do for major characters. I'm happy to try to help out in that regard if I can idk.
