Outbreak Zone is a panfandom zombie survival game. Think of it as Biohazard/Resident Evil meets The Walking Dead meets 28 Days Later. It has low AC. The requirements are to check in with one thread showing that you have done something in the month. It should be a fairly slow to medium game with events once a month. Personal events are more than welcome as well as player suggested events later on when things get rolling. As of the current date, the game isn't open yet, however a test drive should be up within the week! Following that will be the reserves page. As the theme of the game is a zombie apocalypse-type, fully synthetic beings/transformers as well as completely animal characters will be given human forms, so keep that in mind when reserving. If your synthetic being is human height and capable of 'dying' (eg: Dorian from Almost Human, or Data from Star Trek), contact one of the mods because they may be permitted to enter just as they are.

Premise
Your character will awaken in a small room that will become their temporary (or permanent if they so choose) sleeping area within the safe zone. They possess antibodies to the Morte Virus, which seems to have infected the entire population of the underground facility. You will be informed by the local AI that you were brought here to quell the infection because you possess the key to resisting the virus. However, the virus was programmed to adapt, so repeated exposure is not recommended as you risk losing your immunity. The AI and NPCs will help guide players in the right directions during events and entrances the best they can. (Bear in mind that there are only two mods, so please understand if our replies are sluggish.) The more you explore the more you will learn about the laboratory and how the infection came to be. You may even find a way to the surface, which holds its own catastrophe. Can you survive long enough to see the sunlight once again or will you join the shambling masses with a taste for longpig?
