We've had good luck with our previous CRAU folks at 3step_paradise, and we do love new people.

That'd be us! We stay on the smaller end, so we tend to fly under the radar, but we've been running steady for a few years now.

mylittlejamjar has plenty of CRAU characters and is very welcoming to new players, just as long as you don't mind your character being turned into a creature native to Equestria.

I've played a couple CRAUs at outer_divide. The game is also great for newbies, with plenty of opportunities to get involved in the plot right from the get go (even if you don't join with a doctor during a plague like I did...). It's a small, slow paced game that lives for backtags. There's a whole world available to explore in a real way. And there are dinosaurs.
