I'm currently mostly in memes, but I would like to find something with a bit more CR building and longer term.

Mostly museboxing and I'm fine with memes. I have no problem with AUs and cross-canon. I have no problem shipping or doing gen. I also generally prefer prose over the action type with brackets.

Oh, I haven't had the pleasure of playing off of a Lucrecia before. I don't know much of anything about FFXIII, but I have an interest in the characters there, so I wouldn't mind cross-canon shenanigans!

Did you want to try memes first to see how the character mesh together or something private?

I've had really, really excellent threads with Cloud and Rydia (from IV) in the past with both gen and shipping. Full confession, though: I haven't done prose in a while, but I tend to write more lengthy, introspective brackets that could easily transition to prose. I can be a little more brief to either move things along faster or if I'm not in a serious feelings jam.

Regardless, I'm cool with cross-canon, so it doesn't necessarily have to be Rydia (I have just found they mesh pretty well over the years). My list is above, if you're potentially interested in anyone else? And, frankly, I'd be cool with characters I'm not familiar with, as well.

I don't mind not doing prose either. I just tend to get very wordy and long winded in the brackets, but I am fully used to using it since it's the way that memes tend to go I've found. Feelings jam?

I think this is worth looking into :) Would you like to try a meme first or something more private?

Whichever you'd prefer. However, if you'd prefer musebox, I do have a post just for her. There don't seem to be too many memes rn, but I've tagged into hurt/comfort, body heat, minor injury, & rain more recently. I don't mind doing starters, assumed CR, jamjar, AU, not-AU but in one universe or another, etc. I usually default to the other player's universe because FF4 is a little ye olden school for most people's tastes.

Just the same five rehashed? I usually prefer gen with the option to do whatever to it. Anything can be turned into a ship meme after all! Anyway, take your time and I'll roll with whatever punches you throw!

Pretty much and almost all of them picture prompts :/ I agree with you there; it's nice to start gen and see where things go. I like seeing characters gel before they take off their pants :|

I don't mind skipping ahead to certain points in a relationship, but there's something very charming about a relationship as it forms and the tentativeness of it all.

Then again, I'm the one who has been ship-teasing in a game for six months now. Sometimes I need a little shove or you'll want to kill me.

I agree with you there. I personally like the awkward build up and teasing rather than what follows most of the time.

Well... Cloud can be an impulsive idiot sometimes, so fair warning there when it comes to shoves. XD

Well, idk how canon familiar you are, but I think it would be easy to compare her to Aerith. Very sweet, charming, and extremely well-liked but suddenly she is terrifying. :') She isn't too pushy, but she is someone who feels things very strongly and is frank and honest.

Yes, I think I've heard that comparison made, which fits given how gullible Cloud is for sweet girls who can urge him to do things by making it seem like it's his best interest to appear tough XD
