Could I potentially tempt you into looking at maisondeportes? It's a panfandom, horror/mystery game. We have a small but growing FFVII cast with this dude (he is AU), Zack Fair, and Yazoo. Cloud is sure to have lots of headaches fun in a sprawling complex of haunted houses and craziness. Please let me know if you have any questions!

In this game, you're allowed AU versions of characters? Does it have multiple versions of a character allowed in the game? Also, powers or no powers?

Yes, in fact this guy here is an AU. It does allow for multiple versions but the mods will check with current player(s) first. Powers are a go in the game though there are game events that sometimes make those powers really interesting!

May I ask how he is AU (I'm endlessly curious of what people do with Sephiroth after all, given his... substantial impact on Cloud's mentality)? Hmm, that does sound interesting. Is the game fairly plot heavy?

He's very AU. Basically when he was three he was reunited with Lucrecia which had a significant impact on his history. Right now he's all of 18 and has only been in SOLDIER for three months. So poor Cloud would not only find a Sephiroth that has no clue who Cloud is but also isn't a giant ball of hate. (Well he kinda hates the house, but it hasn't been kind to him during his stay.)

The game is very plot heavy both on the game and player side and the mods excel at working with players to help them explore the things they really want to push their characters into.

Yes, that certainly is very AU, and not something that I've considered much given the FFVII history. Well... Cloud would be more weirded out he faced someone still a teenager personally. :/

It's been interesting though he still has a very similar personality in some ways to pre-Nibelheim Sephiroth just the motivations behind it are different. And hey now, Cloud - he's a vry srs teenager!
