Secondhand is more than enough with this monster. It lags really, really badly when I turn it off/sleep mode, too. I tend to do that a lot since I play in short bursts and leave and do some work or household chores or whatever. I can't recall, but does it carry over some items to the next game? I only did a Roxis route and a Pamela route when I had it for PS2.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I definitely ship Roxis/Vayne in the most awkward, tsun, uncertain what are these feelings I don't understand this????? sort of way, but I'm fine with gen. I don't really ship Jess with anyone, but I've the heart of a shipper and am always down for it.

I'm still on... I want to say chapter 2? But I'm so into it right now, I could probably polish it off in two weeks or so.

Iiii'm 95% sure that the only things that carry over are your money (who needs to synthesize gold when you can... muck with timelines?) and Grow Book unlocks. That sounds pretty painful for a portable system though, ouch. So much for pick up and play...

and I guess while we're talking here, in the interest of full disclosure: oops I ship it too. Poor Roxis, this is Vayne we're talking about. Why is granting his wishes doing things for him so hard. I don't much ship Jess either due to that one spoilery thing, though I'll bet she and Pamela could have some interesting conversations, if only Pamela could be made to take anything seriously for any extended period of time. Oh well. ♥

HAHAHAHAHA WOW. Yeah, though it would be nice if they allowed you to synthesize some things at a certain point in time in the game? So you don't break it the game. Then again, FF8's entire magic/GF system allows you to break it...

Oh, gosh. Awesome. I'm not huge on m/m, so when I find one I really like, I really like it. The problem is they're both terribly clueless. As for Jess, I agree! Part of it is the... end, which is absolutely, you know. 8( But I guess in RP things like that can be changed. I guess I'm just not super into the whole fall in love, married, etc, etc sort of thing (which is why the Nikki ending is no???? for me). But I definitely think her and Pamela and a cauldron is asking for a delightful mess.

I'd be fine with that! I'm aswang and esuna, as well as instructor fourteen on AIM and feymarcher on skype. My musebox is kind of haphazard right now, but I don't mind sharing.

WELL I CAN ONLY ASSUME THAT'S WHAT'S GOING ON IN ANY GIVEN NG+. the integrity of the time-space continuum is overrated anyway, who needs it- oh, but I do remember that the last set of ether effects you put on things would stick around. So if you did any long crafting chains to get a specific effect on this material to get a specific effect on that weapon that is then used in a later weapon, etc etc you can skip all that busywork and do the autocraft thing on the end result without fussing with picking ether effects. |Db

Haha, the babies ever after ending of Nikki's... not for everyone, I'll definitely agree! I guess it feels just too happy sappy domestic for me to take without mixing some of the other endings in there (doting father and husband by day, mysterious masked defender of justice Alchemy Man!!!! by night???). ...Would they cancel each other out the way two negatives do, or would the resulting, err, medicines be doubly as bad?

And cool! I can be found at any of ellipsesinaction, coevalities on AIM, or, again, ellipsesinaction on Skype, so whatever works best for you! o/ My own musebox is basically home to my half-finished muselist I'm in the middle of revamping and a bunch of locked codetesting posts, so haha, it's not the neatest thing either.

Oh, boy... how... lucky... But I guess that's not too bad. There are worse NG+ "perks" out there.

I guess it's nice to have something like that amidst everything else, but it felt like kind of a letdown, idk. I'd like to think they're all still friends! All items would have opposite effects, I guess! Just be careful not to forget that and accidentally poison yourself or set yourself on fire!

I'm honestly p cool with whatever and I'm super laid back about plurk, but I realize not everyone is looking for a commitment (especially since I basically talk about HH, FF8, and food). That is essentially my musebox rn, too, but most anything is well enough for me.
