Sci-fi and fantasy are my particular favourite genres; I enjoy horror, but I'm a bit picky about horror games these days.

We're an AU-hopping mystery exploration game, definitely plotty with sci-fi/fantasy elements, opening April 5th & apps open now through the 4th! We plan on being both medium-paced and backtag friendly, and we have an Aria T'Loak who would love castmates! Our ad is here, and I am more than happy to answer any questions!

I'll take a look! The Quantum Leap and Sliders parallels have definitely piqued my interest.

Hello, Liara. I would try to tempt you towards

thestation. It's a panfandom science fiction game set on a space station. Slow to medium-paced, very backtagging-friendly, plot-driven, we're a bit of a small game at the moment, but with a tight-knit player base.

We have a very good Mordin Solus player, who really wants castmates, and Dr. T'Soni has come up in-character in conversation a few times.

Are there ruins to explore? Sci-fi ruins are always fun.

asgardeventide. We have Whale, Hook and Regina thus far, and Elsa here is room mates with Regina so it would be fun to see Snow around and for me to get cr with her. It seems to fit with your prefs as well. If you have any questions I can def try answer and help out.

How far off is endgame? I recall someone on my plurk mentioning Asgard was heading that way a while ago, but can't for the life of me remember the timeline.

December. It'll have a bit after that to properly wrap things up, for characters to say their goodbyes, but that is when it is planned to end. So not for a bit yet, really!

Plot very much is a dealbreaker, unfortunately - I've found I do very poorly in games that are predominantly slice of life. I hope you can find yourself a Liara, though! She'd be an interesting one in a sex game.

Oh well. It was worth a shot! And yes, she would be. :D Good luck wherever you do find yourself.

Ooh you might want to look at

maisondeportes for Jemma especially! We fit all your requirements (slow paced moving to medium at game updates as far as that goes). We're horror genre, but the emphasis is more on puzzle-solving/investigation/exploration than blood and gore. There'd be Bucky and Steve as castmates for Jemma as well.

Can the characters make much headway against their antagonists, or are they largely enduring events, on average?

Hi, I'm TC, one of the mods. The player who enabled at you asked me to answer. It depends on what you mean by headway against the antagonists. Can you kill monsters, yes. Can you defeat a ghost? Sure. But ghosts have a tendency of coming back, even if badly damaged the night before. Attacking a ghost or NPC and permanently damaging would require plotting with the mods, but we'd be happy to work with you.

I'd love a Liara at

outer_divide. It's a small, slow paced community based game that lives for backtags. There's lots of room for newbies to get involved in the plot, and characters can affect it in a very real way. One time we broke history. It's a science fiction game with a whole world available to explore and a mod who is great about "If I go here, what happens?".

Our Mass Effect cast is Mordin, Jane Shepard, Kaidan and Garrus. We also have Tony, Pepper and Thor from the MCU (as well as several characters from various other Marvel universes). And a OUAT cast of Belle, Mulan and Rumplestilskin.

Oh, and there are dinosaurs.

I already play there. In every one of those casts, actually. ;)

The plot:slice-of-life ratio is a little hard to call right now because it just opened/revamped, but there is an over-arching plot to work with (on top of the "you need to have sex now" aspect) at

ophiuchus and I would certainly love to see Liara there.

I know it was too plot-light for my taste back when it was Zodion, but I'll poke around a bit and see what's changed with the reboot.

Oh, man, I remember looking at Ataraxion ages ago, but coming down on the side of "too big and fast". If the current state of the main community's business as usual, though, it looks like it's slowed down some since, so I will definitely take another look.

It's a horror game, but I figured I'd pitch it to you just in case it'd catch your interest. I play Ruby over in

tartarusnet. It's a horror game, fairly slow with a slight increase in pace around events, of which we have plenty. Characters are brought into the Greek Underworld to be punished for their crimes/sins. We're backtag friendly, AC is very relaxed. Reserves and Apps are always open, and if the premise interests you at all I'd be happy to answer any an all questions!

Unfortunately, Tartarus falls into the mold of horror games that just don't work for me. Which is sad, because I adore the premise, I just burned out on that format a while ago and haven't been able to stick with anything using it since.
