Try demeleier, the "survival" aspect of the game is mild and has opt-outs, it's slow/medium, AC is a low requirement, and backtag friendly

yooooo I was that Hakuouki Saitou who was in Haven with you for a hot second. o/

I wanted to suggest synodiporia! The basic premise is that the characters keep getting tossed into different worlds, and every stop has some kind of problem or mystery they have to solve to move on. i.e. our first stop is Prohibition-era Brooklyn, and we've got a murder mystery to solve. Because the setting is constantly changing, I admit that means horror may come up, but it's not an inbuilt part of the game and it's not something we'll be stuck with for long if we do visit a horrorverse.

There can be AU or memory loss but these are completely opt-in; in any given world, you have the choice of having your character come in as an "infiltrator," with false memories of belonging there and usually holding some kind of information that the rest will need to figure everything out. This is totally optional, though, so you can never do it if you want, or just play around with it every now and then if the fancy strikes without having to be glued to it for long.

Since we're not open just yet, I can't promise anything about the pace, admittedly! We're shooting to be medium; there are ~30 accepted characters at the moment so I doubt we'll be going too fast at opening, at any rate.

But mostly what I have to offer here is the cross-canon CR, because the pre-game CR meme is looking pretty fantastic and we have a pretty cool mix of canons planning some neat boundary-crossing stuff. I think that aspect of the game is going to come out pretty neat, especially given that there's a lot more incentive and reason for characters to have to work together than in a lot of games. (And so far as period characters go, we have a few Hakuouki Shinsengumi, and there are a Peacemaker Kurogane pair of Okita and Hijikata reserved, so I admit I really just love seeing all the different Okitas be different brands of trollface at each other. I'm a simple soul with simple desires.)

Definitely going to take into consideration because the premise looks interesting (also yay! all Shinsengumi versions, especially the Hijikatas x3~).
