Every player of The World receives two emails. One from the staff of CC Corp, explaining that there have been technical difficulties in the game as of late, and asking for the players' cooperation while they resolve the issues. The other is from an anonymous sender, sent with no subject, claiming that the game has just been updated with numerous features, before ominously devolving into a jumble of symbols.
