Every player of The World receives two emails. One from the staff of CC Corp, explaining that there have been technical difficulties in the game as of late, and asking for the players' cooperation while they resolve the issues. The other is from an anonymous sender, sent with no subject, claiming that the game has just been updated with numerous features, before ominously devolving into a jumble of symbols.

Unfamiliar people awaken in an unfamiliar city. With no knowledge of where they are or how they got there, they have little choice but to explore their new surroundings or seek the aid of those around them.

Something strange is happening. Will you discover the truth, or let it be? It is yours to decide.

Revision Three is a panfandom half-AU half-jamjar game with some plot and some slice-of-life! It is based on the fictional MMO game, The World, from the .hack// series, but also borrows elements from Sword Art Online and other MMO-based series. Characters are either pulled from their home into The World or are gamers who play the popular MMO. As time passes, the game begins to behave more and more erratically, encouraging players and draftees alike to solve the mystery behind the new state of the game...
