For your consideration: The Warehouse, a panfandom game set in the Warehouse 13/Eureka universe. We're new and fairly slow-paced, so far; there's an overarching meta plot that you can join or not, and opt-in Artifact plots (we should be hitting the first of those this coming month). The AC's easy (one thread, 10 comments); you'd be the first in your canon for any of 'em, but any of your canon characters would be welcome.

So if you happen to like SF-themed games with an open world, exploration, intrigue, assassinations, averting the destruction of the multiverse and the occasional stampede of irritable dinosaurs, outer_divide might be of interest to you.

We definitely fit your criteria, and we can actually offer castmates in the form of Tony, Thor, Sif and Pepper from the MCU, with a Tales of Asgard Loki who's a teenager and more bratty than megalomaniac at this point. Firefly, we've got a Mal, an Inara and a Kaylee whoa re all most excellent indeed. We've got an ad up here, but in general we're a pretty friendly bunch of people with a very helpful mod. Seconding outer_divide from our Pepper there :3 It fits all your requirements, and having a NAtasha in game or a River Tam would be amazing. We're OC friendly, too, if you're looking in particular for a place for 'em!

alteredstates meets all of your requirements, including slow pace and AC (just five prose comments a month). If you apply as an MCU character or River from Firefly you'd even have canonmates! In River's case, her brother is in game and would love his sister showing up. Additionally, we're also OC friendly.

Oh god I'd love to see Cecil or Natasha or gosh just any of those characters around, so maybe City of Darkness will interest you if you don't mind horror? It's a relatively new game so it's slow paced and small, has an easy AC, and is welcoming to OCs!
