Can I interest you in a game called

alteredstates? It takes place in an alternate version of New York City where your character arrives via the Hudson and at some point determines that the river has given them some kind of power (could be anything, really). The AC requirement is only 5 comments per month, though the game is mostly prose based. We're very friendly to backtags. And we have a Castle, a Beckett, and an Alexis (I play Alexis, actually) and we would looooooove to have a ~~Ray Price~~ Ryan. ~~Can you dig it.~~

Alternatively, I play Castle at

asgardeventide and the Beckett there and I would love a Ryan too, but it's a pretty fast moving game and the AC is substantial.

Why hello there.

Altered States looks awesome, not even gonna lie. I'm going to poke around the community there for a day and read up on everything before I decide if I'm going to join the game or not. I've already read the FAQ and the River Powers tabs though, and there's a huge chance I'll be reserving. So you may be seeing ~~Ray~~ Ryan there in the near future. ~~I can dig it.~~

Asgard Eventide is just a little too heavy on the AC for me. I haven't roleplayed in a while so I don't want to jump into a game with too many requirements. But it also looks fun. When I feel more comfortable roleplaying again, I may give it a second look.

Awesome, we would love to have you. Our Castle cast is excellent, if I do say so myself.

And yeah, I figured Asgard would be more than what you were looking for but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway lol.

Oh no, I understand completely! The best times I've ever had in games were the ones I actually read all the material for and took some time to mull over how I'd make my mark on the place. Not to say that's everyone's process but it's mine so I can certainly respect a cautious mindset!

Fair warning though, I think our Castle cast might show up in its entirety to enable you. Ryans are so rare! (And so utterly lovely, let's be real).

But part of it too is previously I had a hard time in a game with some less than friendly players. I left the game I was a part of for about a year and a half because of it (this was about seven months ago). I miss the game atmosphere so much that I want to try it again, but I'm super nervous that the ooc drama might happen again.

Everyone coming to enable me, though, makes me think this'll be so much different. And you're here as a mod and that makes me feel so much better. So thanks! :3

I've decided to reserve Kevin at Altered States. I need to finish an application for a separate game first so I can use the full reserve time to work on the application if I need to. I've written a Kevin app for a different game before, so it shouldn't take me too long. Just have to add some information and make up my mind about what power I'm giving him. :T

Haven't reserved quite yet. I'm gonna finish an application for a different game/character today (just have samples left) and then I'm reserving so I have the full time to work on the application. :D But I'm excited! Everyone seems nice and this cute thing needs to go somewhere.
