I will second crux_fleet! There's a Deadlock, a few Autobots, a few pre-war senators, a Sentinel Prime and I play an OC. It's been good fun so far; there's a variety of plots from silly to serious and plenty of slice-of-life options for the times in-between.

Alternatively, there's dragonhaven where I play Wing. We also have a Drift, and Crystal City exists there as a setting (after being there two months, you can app in a part of any world you wish). It's very open world and heavy in fantasy elements but the premise makes it feel like a big melting pot of genres. The cast is rather eclectic so contemporary and futuristic elements aren't unheard of. There's plenty of player and mod run plots, lots of adventure, exploring, and easy ways to get into trouble if you like even outside of plots.

Neither game requires sizing down but offers methods to explore indoors (holoavatars or drones) and have appropriate sized housing and food for TFs. No power loss in either game as well.
