Are games on Insanejournal okay? I'd love to play with those ladies at marinanova, but I know the site is a dealbreaker for some people. They'd be very cute and very welcome, though...the setting may be an underwater prison, but there are plenty of gardens and teashops. Plus lots of sandbox-type events that'd probably amuse Chikaru but freak Nagisa out.

i love the series to death because of how adorable it is, but it definitely needs a canon review. ...not that that's difficult xD;

i've only heard of IJ but never actually went there so it'd be a 'fish out of water' experience. (fitting given the setting) how different/similar is it to here?

It's almost exactly the same, just a little rougher around the edges - it isn't as prettily formatted, and the html used for posts/tags is all LJ's html shortcuts instead (so lj-cut instead of just cut for "read more" post cuts, lj-user instead of user for creating a journal link, etc.) They used to have some service issues but after moving to a new server I find that DW cuts drops on me more often than IJ does. XD

If that all sounds fine by you, you do need an invite code to make a journal but there are whole communities for getting codes - plus I might be due to have one to hand out too, I can check if you want. And the nicest thing about IJ is that every account comes with 100 free icons!

I hope that answers your question okay. I can do my best with anything else you want to know too, both about the site in general or the game.

ANYWAYS, i'd appreciate the code thing but if necessary i can browse my way around and find one of those communities you mentioned. i saw in that account you had a plurk but i was wondering if maybe you had AIM or any other way to contact you besides a pm on here? if not that's fine cause i can just toss you a pm or keep responding here. o^o;

now it just boils down, technical stuff aside, to picking between nagisa or chikaru... and the obvious canon review of course. though i think i know who i'll be leaning more toward~

Should I see if I can get you a code? I would also be happy to help you voicetest etc as necessary.
